Spoilt by a poor "accidentally left" policy
At first I was a bit surprised at staying in the dark yellow painted, deep red curtained and darkwood themed Africa room (135) but it grew on me. The patio area was pretty dark though. Breakfast was great but no restaurant for an evening meal nor a bar which was a shame. On leaving I realised I left my almost nearly new (expensive) CK shower gel behind and despite getting in touch that afternoon both by email and phone I received this reply at 20.00 - unfortunately we throw hygiene products from a departure in the trash. Sorry but those are the rules.

Not acceptable in any way, shape or form after only a few hours since checking out.

I wanted to upload some photos but the app isn't working properly. I also couldn't rate the parking which was very gravelly, apparently they top it up weekly, so motorcycle riders beware of the steep hill blind turn down into the hotel car park! (ask to park by the main door accessed across the pedestrian area).

Everything was good except for the room's layout. The arrangement of the wardrobe, table, and one chair in the room could be improved. The breakfast and the staff were commendable.

Central location with parking. The hotel corridors are somewhat winding, therefore not always wheelchair accessible. Nevertheless, a recommended accommodation.

We are repeat guests and always enjoy booking the Regio Hotel. It's clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well-equipped and has everything you need. Our bathroom was a bit small, but that didn't bother us. The breakfast is fantastic – the selection is superb, with something for everyone. We think the location is fantastic, as it offers easy access to nature for hiking, and the shopping area is also within easy walking distance. We're already planning our next stay!

Very friendly staff, and everything was clean and tidy with no unpleasant smells. I personally really liked the breakfast room and even the breakfast menu.

The hotel is conveniently located on the main road, but far enough away that we couldn't hear the traffic. We were able to park our motorcycles right in front of the entrance, providing a secure parking space. The room was large enough to spread out all our motorcycle gear. For an evening stroll, the park is on one side and the pedestrian zone on the other. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. All in all, a pleasant stopover.

We were here in August 2020 hoping for a nice small trip. Hotel looked very nice eventhough the price was relatively high we decided to stay there.
It did not meet expectations at all!
- Bed was very hard and extremely low to the ground
- Breakfast very poor and by 9 am you could barely get anything
- Pictures of our room with a balcony that overlooks the nice river - all marketing. In reality we got a wonderful view of the parking lot!
- No luggage check, hotels suggestion was to leave our luggage in the lobby by the entrance
- Service is very unpleasant
- Cleaning service is not properly done. And this is during COVID!

Only good thing is location

Very quiet and very nice environment, comfortable rooms. Hearty breakfast. The receptionists couldn't speak much English, but it wasn't much of a problem. Great location as well.
