The staff were excellent. I don’t speak German and their English was very good. It’s a lovely hotel in a lovely town. However, next time I would book a double room because the single was very small (like Japanese small). And only had one plug socket which was nowhere near the desk.

Autumn dream for lovers in Bad Salzuflen The hotel is very attractive, we liked it very much. Our room was large and well equipped. The wellness area with a swimming pool, two saunas, a massage room and a relaxation area was attractive and we also used it. The hotel service and the two affiliated restaurants deserve special praise. The restaurant probably also has a Michelin rating (2020). A special highlight was the Japanese restaurant. According to our reservation, we had a 3-course menu here. So far we only knew sushi. Now we also know that Japanese cuisine is much more extensive. - Thank you for that. Since we wanted to celebrate a special personal anniversary, the tables for the menu and breakfast were specially decorated at our request - this worked out great. The path to the center / spa is easy and short. We were completely satisfied and will book a return visit in the spring or summer.

After a long time I ate here again, Asian, and I can only say that the kitchen and service area make their things more like top. Only thing I unfortunately had to find out, in the past I booked here for New Year's Eve a suite, which was or well equipped👍 Only the toilet for customers next to the reception, unfortunately, is still unacceptable for this hotel, from my point of view, I would be glad that it will be updated soon.

The hotel is ok, but you have to pay everything extra, parking is not for free anyway AND the spots are limited, most people have to use the public parking for 12 Euro per day. The spa forgot about our reservation. No free water bottle is offered in the rooms. Some double rooms have a bathroom with just a glass door, some single rooms bathrooms have neither door nor walls. The breakfast is nice though including the restaurant you sit in.

I can't understand the good reviews at all. The hotel advertises itself as a wellness hotel, but the spa area is so tiny... only 10 loungers and that's in a big hotel. The guests sit on the tiled floor and wait for a place in the small sauna. The reception reacts rather annoyed when you bring up the subject and blames it on the platform that supposedly over-hyped the wellness area. By the way, you have to take the towels from your room to the spa and rent the bathrobe for 5 euros... I felt ripped off...

Overall, the stay was pleasant. The room was very quiet and clean. The wellness area was also very nice.
The only negative point is the vegan offer for breakfast: non-existent.
The restaurant only has one vegan dish.
For a 4-star hotel this is a bit little.

Went here to celebrate Birthday. Beautiful and Quiet but perfect for a stay with good views and beautiful small town vibes. Located in centre with market in 100 metres
Service was good, people were kind and helpful in the Hotel. Breakfast was good.
Sauna and Swimming Pool, Thai Masaage service on pre booking available.
A nice Asian Restaurant with live cooking.
We asked the hospitality for special services which was provided like room decor, balloons, flowers and cakes for birthday.

We spent a weekend there with friends. The hotel was in a very good location and basically not bad, but not all of the rooms meet the requirements of the 4 stars awarded. We were in the old building, which is slowly in need of renovation, which would be acceptable for one night. But I have never experienced anything like the bathroom in room 210, even 30 years ago in southern countries. The toilet lid did not open completely and kept falling on the user's back (very hygienic). And not only that, when the lid was open, no toilet paper could be taken from the dispenser because it was blocked. The staff at reception were apparently unaware of the problem, but since this situation was clearly not new and had already brought "joy" to several guests, I would say that this was ignorance on the part of the staff and hotel management.

Good location with parking spots under the building(additional payment is needed). Breakfast area is super nice with such a lovely view. You can feel the sense of this elite town and hotel. Thanks.

Hotel in the middle of the city centre of Bad Salzuflen. Very nice breakfast included!! With meats, eggs, cheese, milk, but also plenty of fruits, jam and grains. Even a glass of bubbly wine. We really enjoyed the view from the breakfast area. The rooms were clean and fully equipped. Despite the bathroom being a bit small, the hotel has a pool and wellness area with two sauna's. Also not very big, but well maintained and with more than enough beach chairs, free access to drinking water, and bathroom it is possible to stay there comfortably for a couple of hours. I have never experienced it being too crowded. Lastly, the hotel is surrounded by restaurants. Even if the ones they post on their website don't suit you, there are more than plenty of options in town. Personnel is really friendly and willing to help out, making your stay even better.

I went to the "Kleiner Grünauer" café for brunch today. The café is located in the hotel of the same name. This small, very tastefully decorated café is situated at Wenkestraße 1. The building, which houses both the hotel and the café, has been a listed historical monument in Bad Salzuflen since January 30, 1987, under number 18. The building was originally constructed in 1911. The building and the extension added in 1913 were designed by the architect Rudolf Günther.

The quality of the breakfast/brunch was truly outstanding. The young man serving was very friendly and attentive. The café also offers a small menu with hot dishes. Of course, you can also enjoy a slice of cake; the quality of the homemade cakes is excellent. I highly recommend the poppy seed cream cake. I also had an espresso, which was very strong, just as an espresso should be. They also offer takeaway for their delicious cakes. I can highly recommend the café at the Hotel "Kleiner Grünauer". 💕💕🙏🙏
