Where to stay in Bad Wiessee

With the town centered around wellness tourism, this hotel has the right atmosphere. Sauna, indoor heated swimming pool and close to all the city attractions. The staff all dressed in traditional Bavarian dress.

Excellent hotel, rich breakfast buffet and high quality. The head waiters was so nice and taking care of guests although the restaurant was full. Rooms are nice, quit spacious with traditional furniture.

This is such a lovely place to stay at - the people working there are very nice and helpful, the surrounding is quiet and you have the access to charge your car or bike. The Lake is arou 5 min on foot and from the city centre there is like 10 mins on foot so it is very well located. Rooms are very clean and there is a service everyday from nice ladies. Very large room, well designed and comfortable. From the outside, the hotel might not look appealing, the inside is quite different. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but quite a number in the surroundings. The lake is very close.

Business trip in 12 colleagues. Wonderful structure, recently renovated. Very elegant rooms with new finishes. Excellent breakfast in a room with an entire glass wall overlooking the mountains. Warmly, attentive and caring owners. I hope to have the chance to come here again in the future.

A great hotel, very quiet location, a few meters from the lake, the boss and all the employees were super friendly and courteous. Rooms are modern and functional. Very good beds and a very good breakfast.

I was there for 1 week. The hotel is right on the lake and there is also a delicious breakfast. The staff is VERY nice and the rooms are nicely decorated. Unfortunately there is only breakfast for lunch or in the evening you have to reserve somewhere else.

Booked our room 6 months in advance for our honeymoon. Took over an hour and a half to get a room ready. Were kind of hoping for a nicer room but we were stuffed at the back with a wonderful view of a walking path where people can look through into our bathroom, nice. Good and Funny place Was a great stay. But noice from the road early in the morning were quite massive. Rooms are without Aircon. Spa area were very good. Dining at the location as well superb, but the menu card is limited for a 3 days stay. Area outstanding, extremely beautiful!

Best hotel in the area, most bang for the buck. Great breakfast, very nice rooms. Weinbauer restaurant highly recommended local produce freshly served every day. The shop "Hausladen" on the same premises is also run by the same family, with a great selection of regional products.

Less than 200 metres from the crystal clear waters of the Tegernsee. A generous sized room with small balcony offering beautiful views to the mountains. Excellent breakfast on the wooden terrace. And of course the wonderful Uta–one of nicest hosts we've ever met

Reasonable Price, very good location directly at the lake. You get Tegerncard on arrival. To bad the bathroom is very small, pillows were smelly. Breakfast was good, you can take many coffees but the buns were not fresh. Overall okay stay, would go there again.

We booked an apartment 100m away from the main building. Really nice and spacious, though I was informed that NOONE would tidy up my room during the 5-day stay - that's what happens for those that rent appartments!!! Excellent breakfast and really friendly front-office staff, couldn't say the same though for the restaurant staff...

Well they can’t do anything about the weather so this time we were in our Junior Suite more than usual. It is really comfortable and of course spacious. It has a great view of the lake and is the only hotel in Bad Wiessee with direct access to swimming. This is our go to quiet destination for relaxing. The restaurant ist very good and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend a stay here!!

Great rooms, lovely breakfast, awesome staff. Staff helped with taxis each morning as we needed to go to a conference, so 10/10 on my end. Location wise I suggest you rent a car or use taxis to get around in the area since the public bus stop only comes at certain times.

This place is amazing! We had reserved two rooms. One single and one junior suite. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and clean. Hotel staff called me and left my keys and the instructions for after hours check in. It was easy. Parking is on the premises, free. Breakfast in am. We would recommend it and would love to come back again.

We visited this place during a trip through Oberbayern. We got a Junior Suite with a very large room and a small kitchen. Unfortunately there was no table or desk where you could eat or work. The bath was a bit small but everything was working as expected. Furnitures and bed were ok. The staff was friendly. The breakfast served on the table (!) was good and healthy. Amazing hotel. I didn’t expect anything, just booked one night to relax near the lake. But it was unexpected good! Room, swimming pool, service (I had a massage, which was also good) and the main for me is food! A very nice guest house , well run clean and tidy . The staff are very friendly and attentive, keen to make the guest's stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast is very good and plentiful for every palate. The dinner that I ordered in good time and ate was very tasty and hearty. We attended a wedding at the the Tegernse in October/18 and stayed at this hotel/guest house. Great location five minutes walk from the lake, done in the typical bavarian-style with lovely gardens and a nice creek at the rear. We had a lovely room with a balcony including a nice breakfast.

A room with a lovely view and soundtracked by the gentle plunk plunk of cowbells in the distance and the occasional church bells. I had a single room but still got a balcony with table and lounger. Breakfast was continental with boiled eggs and occasional toast option which was good. Staff were very helpful. My German is very poor but they never made me feel unwelcome and a nuisance.
