Maybe it was a 4 star hotel 50 years ago. Some areas still smell like cigarettes. My room was quite old and had no air conditioning, so get ready to sweat all day. The food is decent and the staff is nice, but I’m not sure it’s worth going back especially in the summer. The lake is a nice feature, but it’s almost impossible to get any sleep with the heat.

Great Wellness area, saunas, jacuzzi, pool excellent and the snow room a highlight. Beautiful outside seating,and garden. Great location on the water. Big spacious room.

I thought the place was pretty nice. Rooms are definitely a bit dated and the whole town didn't seem friendly towards tourists who don't speak German.

The breakfast was great though. Saunas were nice too

Waking up everyday for a construction noise is just not acceptable in a 4 stars wellness hotel. I can see from other reviews that the burst water pipe is the excuse.. Sorry but don't believe that you can't fix that for weeks, it's simply not true..

Just 0 Points! 350€ for two nights (out of the season!) !!! in hotel which should be 4 Star Hotel! I think they forgot that we are not living in 70‘ but 2021! Balcony shared with two other rooms with Street View! Brown curtains, carpet you afraid to walk without socks, bed for two but two separate mattresses, pillows, hairdryer, toilet with calc… Room even not worthy to pay 50€ a night. Think twice before you chose this hotel !!

We booked an apartment 100m away from the main building. Really nice and spacious, though I was informed that NOONE would tidy up my room during the 5-day stay - that's what happens for those that rent appartments!!! Excellent breakfast and really friendly front-office staff, couldn't say the same though for the restaurant staff...

Traditional style apartment with views and very spacious. Well equipped kitchen and very good bathroom. Sitting and dining area well appointed. Beds are comfortable, large and heating in winter if anything too effective so we turned most of the radiators off. 50 metres or so to the main hotel which is where checkin takes place. Here there is a very good restaurant if you don't wish to cook, or walk about 1k to find other food outlets in the centre of Bad Wiessee. Proximity to lake is excellent.
