Everything was perfect during my weekend stay. The hotel has a warm, old-fashioned feel to it and is incredibly cozy and comfortable. But there was nothing outdated about the bathroom, which was modern, well-heated, with a huge shower that had perfect water pressure! Guests are made to feel very welcome, when checking in thanks to the professional and kind welcome as well as in the restaurant where the staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly. Although the restaurant had a small choice of dishes (dinner menu) the food was delicious and very fresh.

i really enjoyed my stay.was upgraded to a lovely room with bigger balcony (only problem is am spoilt for another visit!)delicious breakfast.the hotel is elegant and attractive,nice pool but rather small.my only slight criticism ,which is of course rather subjective)is that i found the bed pillows too soft.my friends who i was visiting were jealous that they weren't staying there too!

We were at the end of a holiday mainly in Malta and then seeing friends in Switzerland. As we were flying back to Scotland from Basel we looked for a conveniently located hotel. We could not believe how fortunate we have been in all respects. The hotel is located in the southern Black Forest and the drive, from the south, not on the quickest route was a wonderful way to approach the very scenic town of Badenweiler. It has so very much to commend it from its scenic park, Roman remains, Spa bath with views to go with it. But it was arriving at the hotel presented the best of welcomes. Set within walking distance of both the town centre and the forest both of which were visited in our far-too-brief s stay. Set in delightful gardens we received a warm welcome. The room was an upgrade to a beautifully presented room with balcony overlooking the garden. The cuisine we experienced from coffee and cakes, evening meal and breakfast were simply delicious with warm and friendly service. Apart from the walk in the forest and around the delightful town, we also enjoyed the use of the swimming pool and related facilities. What a well presented and relaxing place. As we were only booked for one night, we delayed our departure until after lunch. We will not make the mistake of just staying one night next time. A friendly and welcoming hotel were the family’s influence is always present.

The hotel location is so good. The atmosphere was great, the service was fast and excellent. The salad was ok not nothing special about, the cream potato soup was delicious. The main course was average. I think we were not lucky with the site menu

Just arrived and found the reception very pleasing indeed! Same goes to the restaurant service: Very much attentive to details! Parking is free just in front of the hotel. It's a pity Wi-Fi doesn't run in my room.. Still 5 stars!

When I entered the house I immediately felt at home, very nice reception, modern ambience. The rooms are very spacious with a balcony, separate TV area and desk. EVERYTHING that comes out of the kitchen is excellent! Breakfast is inspiring and I've never eaten such a delicious scrambled egg. I was able to try the lunch menu, but the evening bar won't open until October 1st, 2021. I wish the team every success, because the concept is right!
