The hotel is clean and hygienic.
A very nice and beautiful hotel, especially for a stopover on your way to Italy.
Clean rooms, good breakfast.
Lovely village with good restaurants and terraces.
We had a wonderful weekend stay here while visiting friends. The room was spotless and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had 2 windows so were able to enjoy a nice breeze. The bathroom had good space as well. The desk is only open until 9:30pm so if you're planning to arrive late, make arrangements ahead of time. However, we were able to get in after hours using our key. The breakfast...
Good for one night, easy parking. Late night check-in worked. Room was clean, very old fashioned though
Exactly what you need for a business trip stay. Nice staff that speak English.

Good location, good rooms with a nice view.
Breakfast was also good.
Personel (expecially on the breakfast and reception) very helpfull.
Beautifull surroundings. Nice walks. Good admosphere to relax.
Loved it.
Wonderful stay. Thanks!
Great location for exploring the area or just staying to relax. Staff were very welcoming, the room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. No complaints at all.
Wonderful hotel and staff!!
This is an amazing hotel in the beautiful area of the Black Forest and Badenweiler. A great location in the town and close to their Roman Bath ruins and their up to date and modern bath house. The staff was very welcoming and kind to our family. The rooms were very spacious and modern while still reflecting the classic location and building. Would certainly stay there...
Seldom experienced such nice hotel employees. Everything was taken care of that we feel comfortable.
Very nice and clean rooms with a view of the vineyards.
Extremely beautiful and quiet location and sufficient parking spaces.
I can only recommend
I would love to come back

We had an excellent dinner buffet, ending with an exquisite creme brulle. Chef and staff very friendly.
Nettes Personal und super Service.
I spent a weekend alone here to get away from the day-to-day and rest. Lovely place with a really nice spa area. The Saunas were lovely and overall the place was orderly and neat. The friendliest people work here and anytime I needed anything or assistance with anything, they went above and beyond. The restaurant was absolutely delightful and the food was very good. The employees seem to really enjoy...
Very gracious hotel, good food, friendly people and nice surroundings. Worth your while!
A busy spa hotel. Small swimming pool but lots of other spa facilities. Food was fantastic and waiting staff very efficient, if a bit stern at times. We had an upgraded room as there was a small problem with our original room which we very much appreciated. It was in a nice area with lots of good walks and parks in the vicinity. Very clean rooms and facilities.
Nice hotel in a very quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff is very kind and welcoming.
Two points that deserve real improvement are the parking space availability and the messages (which were of poor quality for the price, real shame!)

Nice and authentic building. Good and quiet situated in the village. Good parkingplace. Breakfast very good. The owner is very friendly.
The staff was hospitable and kind. We paid in advance for breakfast to be included and it was nice, but options were limited. Be prepared to pack lightly because there are no elevators on the property, so you will have to carry your baggage up the steep stairs. Parking is extremely limited with only about 6 spaces for mid size vehicles. We did not dine in for dinner so my review will exclude evening...
Hotel isn't modern but very clean. Personal very friendly. Diner was good
First of all, I am really sorry for sending my review so late (we've been in February and still forgetting to write an review)!
We have to say that hotel room maybe is not the most fresh, but it was clean ans spacious. A terrace was also a plus on sunny day and view was quite relaxing. Train station is quiet close and you can use the trains for free with a guest card from that hotel. It was very helpful...
Beautiful rooms, good breakfast, parking space, easy access, near the thermal baths
I have to create an account on tripadvisor, because, me and my friend, have been at restaurant "Der Kaiserhof" at Bad Bellingen once for dinner. It was an absolutely excellent experience for us, as guests from Switzerland. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, the food (especially my sea bream), was one of the best meal during our 3-day-stay in Bad Bellingen, and the terrace in front of...

Very enjoyable old songs from 70s and 80s the golden era of music of this type and other genres using above all electric instruments which gave a whole new sound. This set was acoustic with some effects added but effective and enthusiastic singers from a local duo from Lorrach. Audience mainly over 60 participated eagerly to experience a bit of nostalgia myself included !
My husband and I recently indulged in the Roman Paradise package at Fini Resort Badenwiller, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The resort had an amazing setup, everything was impeccably organized, and both dinner and breakfast were not only delicious but offered a wide variety of choices.
The spa facilities were remarkably clean and provided a serene atmosphere, complemented by the warm...
New swimming pool and en-suites but much else about the venue is need of refurbishment.
For admission ...... approx. for 5 years.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Fini-Resort in Badenweiler again 👍😊
I am relaxing beautifully on the historical floor in the room named after Anton P. Chekhov, everything is great.

One of greatest experiences
we have ever had!
We have been coming here for so many years and we have always been overwhelmed with the whole experience. Everything this place has to offer is outstanding.
Gastronomy, service, friendliness ,everything.
One of the best German traditional places we
have experienced.
Highly recommended to everyone!
We had the most wonderful stay of 5 days in the hotel. Best service and most welcoming attitude I've met in Germany over the last decade. Spacious and comfortable suite, not a single dish has repeated itself during dinners. Nice pool with good selection of saunas. Unfortunately, some are not operational, and no tea station in the saunas area, to my big surprise.
All in all, excellent experience and...
Very good breakfast, some improvements could be made: more pastries, fresh water.
Average half-board dinner.
Charming staff, very attentive, always ready to help and provide information.
Very good wellness area, just missing some fruit and drinks. Magnificent pool. The Junior Suite is very beautiful with a huge terrace. Good value for money.
Charming electric car charging for hotel guests is a shame...
Nice building, well situated. But: overall old. Bathroom very simple, but we heard other guest talking and walking plus 2 out of 3 blinds in our room were broken. Same in the room of our soon (1 broken out of 2). On the plus-side: food was very good and we could charge out EV.
Overall, not worth the price unfortunately.
Enjoy a lot. The only drawback, we went to the thermo source a bit late around 7 pm and the water was not really warm...
But okay in general for everything.
Brilliant hotel. Staff are very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Food in the restaurant is excellent as are the breakfasts.
The wellness area is also a wonderfull place to relax, swim and enjoy the saunas

I love here. I love atmosphere of hotel and things around! Hotel it's very nice room/ clean/ and very nice and friendly people there.. :)
If you want to go Badenweiler! I highly recommended here.. :)
I came with my dog to Badenweiler, escaping the 1st of August fireworks in Switzerland. Why Badenweiler? For one, it's not so far from where I live. Secondly I was travelling down memory lane, seen that I did my internships some decades ago in Badenweiler.
When looking for a place to stay, allowing dogs, the reviews about Romantik Hotel zur Sonne were immediately convincing. And I don't regret my choice...
We had 5 wonderful days at the hotel Zur Sonne in the spa town of Badenweiler. We felt really welcome and at home. It is comfortable, quietly situated and full of character, with a fantastic kitchen, also for vegetarians. Katinka, Thom and their team are passionate, personal and professional and are always there for you. They tune in to what you need. Also in suggestions for activities in the area...
We had an outstanding tasting menu of 4 courses. The flavours in each dish delicate and balanced and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the ambiance warm and pleasant. The monkfish served on a bed of black lentils was delicious and visually interesting. It was a special event to celebrate - Women in wine, with winemaker Johanna Bernhart presenting excellent local wines.
The Zur Sonne Romantik Hotel is amazing. Tom the chef and his wife Catinka made my friend and I completely at home! On arrival, we were greeted with a smile and offered a coffee on check in.Both rooms (room 4 and 5) were spotless with a nice balcony. During the evening, we had a delicious meal at the restaurant and it was one of the nicest meals I have ever tasted! The care and attention to detail...
We enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the Sonne in Badenweiler with new hosts Catinka and Tom! They were all so super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. A welcome cappucino and homemade cookie on arrival, lovely comfortable rooms with balcony and a divine evening meal in the restaurant by chef Tom. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented, a meal to remember.

Beautiful building. Quiet room (can hear the train sometimes, but I don’t think through the night). Room a mix of old style with modern upgrades like windows and new bath and carpet, makes it feel cozy. Very nice restaurant and great breakfast with lots of choice. Easy parking on site.
Charming, friendly and well kept hotel with an epic breakies.
I have never slept so well in a long time.
And the porridge they serve for breakfast is incredible.
On the plus side the staff were helpful and the restaurant served good food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately the hotel lacked atmosphere and one suspects is mostly used by people on business. The restaurant was busy, a good refection of local support rather than relying on hotel guests. Reasonably priced dishes which the chef was happy to tweak to meet customer’s requests. The rooms are simple...
Had a great overnight stay en route to Italy. Friendly staff, diner was really nice, our suite was excellent and breakfast was good. We booked a family room, but we're upgraded to two rooms. Highly recommended 😃

Quite busy place on Sunday. Restaurant is nice and staff welcomes you on a friendly way.
Menu card is somehow limited but served meals are traditional. Prices are correct.
Markushof is a house rather for elderly people, as one would expect in a village famous for it's bath and health infrastructure. If you keep this in mind, the Markushof is a very nice hotel to stay and eat in. My single room was very clean and in a good size. Although the room was not expensive, it was nicely furnished in a good size and included a well sized, modern bathroom, with all you need. We...

Just spent four nights here. Absolutely brilliant staff and service from reception to restaurant and bar. Room service team extremely helpful too. Everything spotlessly clean. Valencia in the restaurant was very helpful (in German, French or English). Resto head guy is a character too, super ambience.
Beautifulpart of the world, we will be back soon.
Many thanks to to a great team there.
Hospitality of the managers was below par. Hospitality of the employees was excellent: incredibly kind and hardworking people, who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Sparkling clean hotel, lovely and attentive staff, excellent food. The views from the balconies are lovely, as well. We came to recover from jet lag, though many people come to hike the area and swim in the bath waters. The food was a highlight. Each day the menu changes. We went in summer and the German food was the lightest I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend!
Already on our arrival we could feel that Hotel Anna is a family-owned hotel with a personal atmosphere. The chief herself welcomed us, showed us our room and asked us kindly to show up in the restaurant not later than 8 pm. All guests have a reserved table that is yours during your stay. The restaurant is closed for non-residents. We had not thought about half board during our one week stay, but the...

We just stayed one night but had a great stay. The corner room felt very spacious with nice interior.
Dinner also met more than our expectations starting with a nice buffet, good choices for the main as well as nice desserts.
Service was great everywhere and the whole stay was a great value for the price.
Wow, the breakfast was amazing, really worth the price! We walked in at 10am and the buffet was very well served, the cappuccino and omelet were delicious and you could even help yourself with some prosecco! The service was 5 stars and the people very lovely. Thank you for this good moment. We will definitely come back God willingly
Excellent service and lovely breakfast! The interior has that charming “royal golden touch” — floral patterns, golden taps and light switches, in a style typical of German classicism. Surprisingly tasteful and well put together. Definitely recommend!
The hotel is perfectly maintained and run by the sweetest staff. The property has a nice spa area with saunas and an indoor pool. It also has thermal baths close by. Its a great spot to get away from the city but could be a little boring for younger people
Everything was perfect during my weekend stay. The hotel has a warm, old-fashioned feel to it and is incredibly cozy and comfortable. Come here for the cakes! They offer the full range of traditional options - home made with proper ingredients - fantastic. (The only minus is that we felt there was way too much alcohol in the Kirschtorte, and we wished there was an alcohol-free option for the increasing number of people who don't partake - especially as this is a clinic town??).
