We felt so welcome and comfortable at Hotel Anna in Badenweiler. Spacious room, well outfitted with a lot of thoughtful touches, which communicate generous hospitality and care for the guests. This set was acoustic with some effects added but effective and enthusiastic singers from a local duo from Lorrach. A busy spa hotel. Small swimming pool but lots of other spa facilities. Food was fantastic and waiting staff very efficient, if a bit stern at times. We had an upgraded room as there was a small problem with our original room which we very much appreciated. It was in a nice area with lots of good walks and parks in the vicinity. Nice hotel in a very quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Two points that deserve real improvement are the parking space availability and the messages (which were of poor quality for the price, real shame!)

Nice building, well situated. But: overall old. Bathroom very simple, but we heard other guest talking and walking plus 2 out of 3 blinds in our room were broken. Same in the room of our soon (1 broken out of 2). On the plus-side: food was very good and we could charge out EV. Overall, not worth the price unfortunately.

Enjoy a lot. The only drawback, we went to the thermo source a bit late around 7 pm and the water was not really warm... But okay in general for everything.

There is so much I could say, but this place is ideal. The rooms were great. The largest and nicest rooms we stayed in during our time in Germany. They need to improve immediately We stay 4 nights, 3 times in a row the towels were not changed without our request, twice the bed linen was not changed, once the room was not cleaned at all. Besides, it's not a good idea to put two twin beds together and to call it double bed.

Nice property in a quiet location. The crowd was definitely much older than I expected (all grey hair with a lot of canes or walking sticks). I believe that there is a physical therapist located nearby. It did matter. My only complaint was that the room didn’t have AC and it was warm that evening. They provided a fan and it was enough for the heat.

In principle a nice hotel, not cheap, on an excellent location in the city of Freiburg. However, we requested upfront extra attention for the cleaning of the room, because my wife has a dust allergy. The room was really dirty... the management did not even apologize.

I visited the restaurant many times and was never disappointed. Excellent quality food and service. Attention to detail. I feel truly valued as a patron. Even going for tea or coffee and sweets is an experience to truly enjoy. A reservation is recommended during busy times.

The room was ok but they didn’t clean the room even if we stayed there for 3 nights. I know that in this part of Germany they ask you if you want to skip the cleaning but they did not ask us.

Good place for a stopover when traveling, nicely situated in the city center, so good for food and drinks. Rooms are clean and have all you need for 1 night . Staf is friendly and nice. Parking might be an issue when the garage is full, we managed to park right in front of the hotel. Was slightly moer expensive but it was good. I would go there again next time!

Accommodation in Freiburg The hotel is close to the hill where we can reach easily for a pleasant walk. From the city centre is few blocks away and it is possible to go by walk. As it was extremely hot during my stay, a small fan (no air conditioning) did not help a lot!

Recommend their trout (seems that they keep about 50 trout with the river nearby, and they'll catch one when you place an order). Convenient hotel Convenient hotel for visiting Breisach. Built on a hill, so slightly awkward layout. Reasonable choice in the restaurant. Check-in was at 3pm, but we arrived early, and were able to leave our luggage, which was good.

We had some very nice stays here from 2018-2021. The breakfast Müsli was worth the stay alone, and dinner at the restaurant was also fantastic. Most importantly the host was very caring, welcoming, and thoughtful. We are very sad that this place has closed, forget from time to time, and try to book it again.

Staff were very friendly and very helpful .The breakfast was excellent- a wide range to choose from,hot and cold dishes, juices, breads. Even a nice selection of teas and coffees. A very high standard .

This is an amazing hotel, I’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels but this one is probably the place where hospitality is at its best. Hotel Sonne was fantastic. The hotel itself is in the typical area style, beautiful woodwork and furnishings. Extremely clean. The location is very good. Directly in the town center and local attractions ie hiking, etc. within a few minutes drive. The staff made us feel at home. The restaurant is a top rated restaurant in Germany.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner was very tasty. Room was comfortable. Free parking behind hotel with a parking token from the hotel.

The restaurant food was good, however the service was not enough to wait for the dishes -we have waited for about 1 hour to get our dishes. This isn't a reasonable time to wait .

I had dinner here with my husband. I had low temperature cooked beef and my husband had salmon. The food was amazing and the service was very friendly.
