So we have given up - the noise is just too much. We have had to endure heavy (and I mean heavy) construction machinery, literally 2 metres from our pitch from 8am to 8pm most days this week. Despite going a day early it is unlikely we will receive any compensation. I complained on Monday but no one has even been bothered to come and see us. Really dissapointed with our stay at this campsite. Unfortunately you can not add a recording to the review so you will just have to judge for yourselves@

helpful staff, clean campsite and well looked after facilities, good amount of room per pitch although a little cramped but we didn’t mind. i’d recommend booking a specific pitch.

Stayed with a tent and our two bikes. Everything looks great and the toilet and shower facilities are modern and clean. Location close to the city and 5 min cycle to groceries.
At 39 euros a night for two people, it is a little bit on the expensive side for a stay with a small tent.

Very pretty area and a very comfortable place to stay. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Good location because whether you're walking or driving, the Freiburg city center is very close. The flammkuchen is also excellent.

This is a very well run site a mere 35-40 minutes walk to the historic Freiburg Old Town, the Black Forest capital.
The owners and staff were most welcoming and helpful. There was generally a friendly vibe about the site.
There is a shop selling drinks, cakes, etc. Food is also served in the cafe in the evening. The facilities are excellent - modern and kept very clean.
We would be delighted to stay here again.

Really liked this site. The check in was with a lovely Italian lady who walked me to the available pitches so I could choose. The site was full that night so I'd definitely pre-book. Facilities were modern and spotlessly clean, and the water for the showers and washing up was piping hot !
It was a very pleasant 30min walk along the river into the centre of Freiburg.
There was a lovely cafe on site which had a selection of drinks and cakes. Highly recommended!

Very clean site with the best facilities I've seen on a site! Pitches are tight for bigger vans but a nice easy 40 minute walk in to the beautiful town centre is a must do!

Good place to spend a night. The sanitary building seemed quite new and it was very clean. One of the better showers I have had in a camping park. The pitches are small and it was quite crowded when we were there.

What a great campsite with probably the best utility's we have ever experienced. Full marks to the excellent staff who were informative and friendly. Full marks Busses you were great. Thank you

Friendly staff, really nice showers and toilets. They have everything you need for staying in a tent or camper/van. Really nice to have is the breakfast they provide each morning, the coffee was great!
The only lesser part was that the tent space seemed a bit small. All the tents were crammed together, especially when other people brought really big tents. The tent space is also really close to the parking, so noise can be an issue.
