Our stay in Minerva hotel went very well, it has a cosy romantic atmosphere, kids enjoyed toy corner and we apprecciated a lot gluten free breakfast options!

For several years now, we've been coming to Freiburg for a weekend every late autumn and always enjoy staying at the Hotel Minerva. It's only about a five-minute walk from the train station. The hosts and all the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is varied and delicious, especially the homemade jams and the freshly prepared egg dishes. The ambiance in the breakfast room is also very pleasant, with very comfortable chairs, cloth napkins, and great lighting. The rooms are also very comfortable. We'll gladly come back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Hotel Minerva is a lovely small hotel tucked in a quiet street not far from the station. We stayed three nights and enjoyed a comfortable bedroom with a small bathroom and balcony. The breakfast buffet is tasty. Everyone working in the hotel was friendly and welcoming. We ate an excellent meal at the Italian restaurant (Antica?) on the corner of the street. There is also a Bangladeshi restaurant next to this but they are both closed on a Sunday. O’Kelly’s Irish Pub is about ten minutes away and does great beer and hamburgers. It is open seven days a week!

A terrible experience! Dirty and used towels in the bathroom and empty bottles of beer on the table. After complaining they changes the towels but when we wanted to go to sleep there was dark hair on several spots on the blanket like it was not even changed. Really disgusting at an exaggerated price of 200 Euros. Never again!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Minerva. It’s a beautiful, small, and cozy hotel with a lot of charm. What I loved the most is that it’s not part of a chain, so it has its own unique personality. The breakfast was definitely the highlight – delicious and with great variety. The location is also excellent, close to both the city center and the main train station. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazingly friendly staff. They’ve done a great job at making you feel like you’re at home. Rooms are comfortable and the terrace is a great addition

We've had stayed in this nice family-run hotel for three nights and woke up every morning with a wonderful smell of fresh pastry from the window. Unlike every other hotel we've stayed, this had a good breakfast, very clean rooms, friendly staff. We've requested an extra blanket (yes, in august...) and got it immediately. VERY IMPORTANT: they give you a "Conus Card" wich allows to use public transport for free, including other cities in Baden-Wurttemberg. Location is 3 minutes walk from main station (bus and train).

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, all very nice. I stay there when I’m in Freiburg and love the location. The only negative thing to say is that the towels were a little „tired“ this time and could use an upgrade.

Such a lovely stay at the charming Hotel Minerva! Comfortable bed and excellent shower after a long travel day. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Everyone I encountered was very helpful! Will definitely stay here on my travels to Freiburg again.

Great, clean hotel in the Black Forest. Staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel was in a convenient location to all the major sights in the old town section of town. The included breakfast was also very good.
