Where to stay in Baden-Baden

Lovely spot. Great restaurants and beautiful location. Parking is not on site, but it’s an easy 5 min walk.

Beautiful city Baden-baden is a beautiful city with a historic city centre, the hotel/restaurant was hosted by nice people. We could easily have stayed longer.

Great location in central area, really nice breakfast and restaurant. You do have to walk a few blocks from parking ramp, but not bad. Very close to Frederichsba, shopping and good hiking

Great location fro restaurants and shopping. Closest parking is a 7 minute walk. Parking availability on the website and in the guest book is misleading. Breakfast was yummy.

The option to bring my pet was a huge advantage, as it's not always easy. The staff is super friendly, and I can only say I would come back.

I was happy to learn that pets were allowed, as I had my small dog with me. Our suite was very clean, and I felt very comfortable there.

Very central location, large, spacious rooms, and there's room for improvement in terms of comfort, such as a larger TV and a comfortable armchair for watching TV, rather than just a regular chair...!!!

Spacious and clean room in a property located in the center of Baden-Baden. Several local restaurants and a beautiful spa are nearby. Indoor parking is available upon request.

I've stopped there for a night for the last two years during post Christmas season. I've always liked the room at this hotel, descent size and very quiet and clean. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast. Would highly recommend it to travellers, and I'll personally definitely go back there when I'm in baden baden again.

Great Hotel for Baden-Baden, however the walk back from the town centre may be a little too steep for some.

We stopped for one night as we travelled through europe. The staff were friendly but quite slow in serving terms. The hotel ran out of beer on the first round and didn't offer dinner. Rooms clean and fresh.

Very cosy and quiet place to spend romantic vacation or businesstrip. Not far from the main attractions. We spent fantastic fortnight on this, 2015 new year. Thanks a lot to all the staff for care and the hotel owner for quality management!

We have just toured the Black Forest on our bikes all the way from the UK We stayed here so we would be at the start of the B500 What a great place , spotlessly clean, food 100% and the Chef & team were absolutely spot on .. Anyone who leaves a 1 star review clearly hasn’t worked in hospitality .. We had a 1700 mile round trip and stayed here for 3 nights .. We will be back for sure 🏍🏁🍺

Traditional restaurant a short walk from the funicular base station. Full of locals it seemed which is always a good sign. We stopped for some cake as our accommodation host recommended it. I also had a goats cheese salad which was excellent.

Can’t say enough about the excellent staff, great room, wonderful breakfast and excellent food in the restaurant. Everyone was helpful and informative. We stayed two nights and ate there both nights. I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

I had a perfect stay here. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. Parking is free. The breakfast is better than most 5* hotels I’ve stayed in, it must take them hours of prep and yet they’re still happy and smiley with every guest at 7am. There is no restaurant onsite so I ate at the restaurant opposite, there is however an honesty bar. I can’t wait...

A very nice chalet-style hotel, 10 minutes from the charming center of Baden-Baden, in a quiet location at the foot of the forest. The room had a terrace, and there was parking right outside. The breakfast was excellent with an extraordinary selection. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a pleasant overnight stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, both at checkin and during breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good and well organized. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy. The location is also excellent perfect for exploring the city on foot. A small downside was that there was no air conditioning in the room. We only stayed one night, they were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable with noticeable upgrades for an older building. Breakfast was very good with lots of options but most of all the location to shopping can’t be beat for the price. We will return to this hotel.

What an absolute gem of a hotel! We had a lovely room with a balcony. Don’t get me wrong this hotel is not posh, but neither is the price tag. It’s a charming little boutique hotel in a fabulous location that offers an excellent breakfast.

Pleasant means it was nice but not outstanding. As other reviews have said the breakfast really was very good. The bathroom was very good quality and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but décor was a little underwhelming. It is very close to a lovely park.

Perfectly adequate for one night. Access to the room was very straightforward.

The room was well equipped and neat and tidy, right next to the baths. There is a small tourist Tax that must be paid when you arrive outside of the indicated fee, but it wasn't prohibitive.

This property was awesome! It was in a quiet courtyard in a beautiful area of shops and dining. The owners addressed all details. My only suggestion would be to have a picture of the front door and sign on the website so you were completely sure you are entering the correct location.

Googlemaps had an issue finding the property but after we found it, it was easy. Quick and easy checkin. Room is quite small but it was clean. Baden-Baden has a “spa” tax and guests must complete the form and submit the tax with cash or PayPal separately. Definitely a challenge if you don’t speak German!

Great stay! The place was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but for one person it was fine. The toilet paper holder was broken but I emailed and they fixed it the day after.

The hotel was really quiet, the room was clean and comfortable. The view from our room was of the vineyards. We didn't notice that the hotel restaurant wasn't open on Sundays and the friendly receptionist offered us a fruit plate with nuts for lat- night snack. We can recommend it. The breakfast was also plentiful.

Good hotel considering the location

Clean room. Easy access from freeway. Better than other reviews. But only there for a short time before flight in the morning. It was clean and warm. Nice to have water there for us. Could benefit from signs showing the entrance.

It's right next to the highway, with a 24-hour front desk and a McDonald's next door. Parking is very convenient, but the facilities are a bit old. The hygiene is acceptable.

Overnight stay on the way to Spain from Dk. The room is a bit like you would expect from a highway motel, but it was a clean room with room for all of us.

Absolutely lovely little hotel, about 20 mins from town centre but a very pleasant walk. Great local pub just 5 mins walk away. Would highly recommend.

I will always come back. This was my second stay at this nice hotel in Baden-Baden and I will always return. The staff has been very nice. The room (solo travel) is roomy for a hotel in Germany. I particularly love the towel heater in the bathroom, the view from the room, and the comfortable bed.
