We had an excellent stay here and we will definitely come back if we travel in the Black Forest area again. The owner is super friendly and offered clear guidance about access prior to our arrival. The pastry and fruits in the room was a very kind gesture. We had the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in years. The owners’ care and attention to detail are easily spotted throughout the hotel public area, room and breakfast setup.

We stayed at the hotel due to a business event nearby. From the outside, it's rather unassuming, but inside it's a gem. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and everything is impeccably maintained and clean. The breakfast room looks like something straight out of a 70s film (but all the furniture, lamps, etc., are like new). There's a delicious selection of fine breads, cakes, antipasti, a variety of cold cuts and cheeses, and as a special treat, your egg dish is freshly prepared to order. We highly recommend this hotel!

I had a perfect stay here. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. Parking is free. The breakfast is better than most 5* hotels I’ve stayed in, it must take them hours of prep and yet they’re still happy and smiley with every guest at 7am. There is no restaurant onsite so I ate at the restaurant opposite, there is however an honesty bar. I can’t wait to return.

A very nice chalet-style hotel, 10 minutes from the charming center of Baden-Baden, in a quiet location at the foot of the forest. The room had a terrace, and there was parking right outside. The breakfast was excellent with an extraordinary selection. We highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay... It was too short, we will come back! The area is beautiful, quiet and serene, just a few kilometers away from Baden Baden. The staff in this family owned hotel is very welcoming. What a pleasure to interact with such nice people! The room is great, with a pleasant balcony and ensuite bathroom: it is spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is absolutely brilliant; indeed better than many 5* hotels I have stayed in. The quality, taste and variety of the dishes offered is amazing; served in a beautiful room and with impeccable style. What a treat! Parking is available for free. Overall, a brilliant stay. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

We arrived late, but everything was perfectly organized. The rooms are large and very clean. The breakfast is amazing, and I think the self-service bar is a great idea. The owners are very friendly. We would gladly stay again. Family Gratz and Marseu

From the warm welcome upon arrival to the delicious breakfast the following morning, this hotel deserves only 5 stars. The location (slightly outside the city center), while quiet, was by no means a less desirable option than the larger hotels in town! While some renovations could certainly be done in and around the building, they aren't necessary, as everything is clean and well-maintained. The friendliness and service of Mr. Vetter and his team speak for themselves! You can tell that someone here genuinely enjoys taking care of their guests! This is also evident in the outstanding breakfast each morning, with a selection that leaves absolutely nothing to be desired! Even the details of how the food is presented are almost unparalleled in hotels these days. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel. Keep up the great work!

Thank you !! Arrived late on a Sunday when we couldn’t get a thing in Baden Baden. Booked online 30 mins before arrival. On arrival, phoned as directed and helped ourselves to a key from a basket outside!!! Let ourselves in, spent and hour in the honesty bar downstairs, slept like LOGS and woke up to the world’s most enormous buffet breakfast and an exquisite omelet cooked by the owner himself. Heavenly place - so wish it had been longer!

The hotel is friendly, Exceptionally clean, and serves a wonderful breakfast, with friendly staff that make you feel so welcome. The small touches of candles and flower decorations at the tables make a very relaxing start to the day. We Really appreciated the pastries that were left on our arrival in our room. The bed was very comfortable and we decided to book for our homeward journey ,once again everything was perfect. Car parking facilities are excellent.
