Lovely hotel but parking somtimes difficult

Stayed here due to my campervan going down. Was on the way to my campground when suddenly it wasn’t working proper when going up a mountain and had a hard time finding a place to sleep. Everything was closed or was on holiday. Thank goodness my boyfriend did his best to find some people to help us out and found about this hotel that had a spot for us and a bit cheaper as well due to the inconveniences...

A very welcoming and friendly place to stay, as a foreign visitor the staff were very helpful, especially Ida on reception. I didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but the breakfast was of a good standard for a hotel. I shall certainly stay there again on my return to Buhl next year.

The staff was super friendly letting us have dinner past 9 pm while it was already closed. The place is family-friendly with nice space around the hotel for the kids. The hotel is a 15-min drive from Baden Baden which also practical. Room was big and clean. Happy customer!

I had a perfect stay here. The hosts are so friendly and hospitable. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. Parking is free. The breakfast is better than most 5* hotels I’ve stayed in, it must take them hours of prep and yet they’re still happy and smiley with every guest at 7am. The breakfast was fabulous! Lots of great choices and excellent coffee. The room was small, but clean. It had a kettle and fridge and the bathroom had great lighting. The fridge wasn't super cold but I just assumed it was working. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, and accommodating with arrival time.

Breakfast is five-star and as satisfying as an average German family hotel👍 But if it's not the main building, you need to use a key. The doors to other auxiliary buildings also need to be opened with a key, which takes a while. And the basic room type may not have air conditioning but only a fan. Pleasant means it was nice but not outstanding. As other reviews have said the breakfast really was very good. The bathroom was very good quality and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but décor was a little underwhelming. It is very close to a lovely park.

We only stayed one night, they were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable with noticeable upgrades for an older building. Breakfast was very good with lots of options but most of all the location to shopping can’t be beat for the price. We will return to this hotel.

I will always come back. This was my second stay at this nice hotel in Baden-Baden and I will always return. The staff has been very nice. The room (solo travel) is roomy for a hotel in Germany. I particularly love the towel heater in the bathroom, the view from the room, and the comfortable bed.

The hotel is very well located in the center of Baden-Baden, with a very good and varied buffet breakfast. The service was average and polite. Now, regarding the comfort of the single room, it was very poor—too small, poorly soundproofed, and the mattress was very poor for a child. The bed was fine for one night, but I don't recommend it. There are better hotels nearby for a little more.

Yes, I arrived at 12 noon and they let me check in early, which was very considerate. The breakfast snacks were average, and the cakes were especially good, but the variety was a little less than other places.

Although the hotel is old, it's very clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the breakfast, which was quite rich and satisfying for a European breakfast! The most memorable part was the boiled eggs, which were placed in a basket wrapped in cloth. I only realized they were there when I saw someone else taking them from the basket, haha!

Everything else was fine, but the service was terrible. They insisted I wait until 3:00 PM for check-in, when other hotels usually allow check-in at 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM if a room is available. This property was awesome! It was in a quiet courtyard in a beautiful area of shops and dining. The owners addressed all details. My only suggestion would be to have a picture of the front door and sign on the website so you were completely sure you are entering the correct location.

Googlemaps had an issue finding the property but after we found it, it was easy. Quick and easy checkin. Room is quite small but it was clean. Baden-Baden has a “spa” tax and guests must complete the form and submit the tax with cash or PayPal separately. Definitely a challenge if you don’t speak German!

Great stay! The place was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but for one person it was fine. The toilet paper holder was broken but I emailed and they fixed it the day after.

Nice but get a receipt! Our stay was great, comfortable room, nice area. However, I was charged twice for my room and have been unable to get the second charge refunded through hotels,com. I am in the process of disputing the charge with cc company. We checked out early due to an early morning train reservation so I do not have a receipt from check out.

The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony.
