Hotel Etol in Baden-Baden

I am editing this review to reply to the owner.
First, we did not arrive 10 mins before 10am. We arrive at 9:45 as I mentioned in my review. This is the first lie your long term excellent employee told you.
Second, we were told the breakfast was served from 7-10 not that we need to be there in advance because the serving will be shut down at 9:50 this was never communicated.
Third, we are grown adults, we do not need to be scolded about how bad we are from not being on time. We were on time. is not disrespectful to be 15 mins before closing, but it its highly disrespectful to be told that we were rude to be late and we should have been there earlier. We pointed this out. is disrespectful that if a client tells you that it is not good to be treated like this you reply that you are not being paid extra.
Again I state the same, this person should not be working in hospitality.

Rooms are ok, clean and nice. Location is great as is close to everything.
Service is horrible. We arrive around 7-7.30 PM, there was no reception available so we ring, waited and ringed again. A person came from another entrance and complained that we had no patience because we ringed twice. We were told that breakfast was from 7-10am whereas in the hotel web site states until 10.30. when we went for breakfast we were scolded again by the staff becasue we went at 9.45 and they close at 10, buffet was served until 9.50... When we complained staff mentioned that they were not being paid for extra 30 minutes of work.
We didn't feel very welcomed. Hotels fall into the hospitality service, the service of this hotel is very poor

Would not recommend staying here! We did not get the room we ordered with double bed but 3 small old children beds that smelled of urine in a shared entrance at a price of over 200 €! Legally, we had the right to pay at check out, but she took over money at check in because she knew those things and thereby scammed us. There is no climate or balcony. The breakfast is very bad also in this price point, no scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages etc. The front desk could also not see our booking and did not know anything. We offered to leave the hotel immediately and get our money back but she refused and said if we would leave she would not pay anything back.

Worst hotel ever - totally overpriced !
