Great hotel in the center of Baden-Baden
Our stay at the Hotel zum Goldenen Lowen was very nice and very comfortable. The room was larger than expected and was very quiet at night. The hotel is centrally located in Baden-Baden and convenient to shopping and other sites. We were here for the Christmas markets and they were only a few blocks away (easy to walk to). We recommend this hotel and will probably stay here again.

The location is quite good while the service is not that good. There isn’t a hair dryer in my room, and I can’t ask anyone for help during that period.My hair is wet and the temperature now is low in night. Hope I won’t get sick!My experience was quite awful as nobody is at the reception that time to handle this stuff!Besides, there is no water heater in the room as well. Everyone who comes at autumn and winter shall take care of yourself.

Very quaint boutique hotel in the heart of the old town... Beautiful shopping district with lots of restaurantsnand a beautiful park with river to walk through (nearby). Walking distance to 2 thermal pool spas. If self driving there is no parking at the hotel, but there are a couple of parking garages nearby (4 blocks). Its very charming.

The location is very good and it's a very historical building. But before you check in, you should check everything is prepared in the room like hairdryer. We didn't notice that and we couldn't dry our hair for all night. Maybe after 12:00 am, no one can provide service to you and we have feedbacked this thing to the hotel, but there's no any compensation except apologies. Wish I won't get a cold...
In my country and where I live currently (France), people handle this issue as soon as possible.

We stayed there with our 2 teenagers. We rented 2 rooms with a connecting door. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom was also big, wide and enjoyable to use. The locating is fantastic. Parking is challenging but manageable. We had a great time.

Centrally-located and within a stroll to a variety of bars and restaurants. Beer hall downstairs. Clean and spacious room with a very adequate bathroom.

Horrible service, thin walls, no on-site parking
Extremely misleading description of the property! ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING ON SITE. We checked the app and hotel website, both of which said parking was on site. Completely false which was a priority for us. This put us in a bad position trying to find parking to check in, the hostess was extremely rude and we were placed in a room that was literally an exit stairwell. The hotel advertised multiple times a tennis court which is non existent. The breakfast across the street is nice but that’s about all that was pleasant about this stay. We could literally hear the guests breathing (not snoring) in the next room the walls are so thin. Great location but for the price would definitely choose to stay anywhere else next time. Parking was almost a full mile away on uneven ground, 9 euros a day and very difficult to park in.
