Excellent location near the pedestrian area; fantastic, well-prepared breakfast. The only downside is the room location: you have to take the elevator to the second floor and then walk down the stairs with your suitcases to the first floor.
Our dog was welcomed warmly, but it would be nice to at least include a small welcome gift.

Located within 1 kilometer of the central station, with a shuttle bus from Frankfurt Airport, it offers convenient access to tourist attractions, and there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and cafes nearby – the location is superb.

Breakfast is fantastic, with about 10 kinds of fresh juices including smoothies, and various canapés – the variety is incredible, and the service is friendly and top-notch.

You can make coffee in your room using the coffee machine, and there's free fruit-infused water at the entrance. The lobby is spacious, with tables and sofas, and power outlets – simply wonderful!

The only downside is the lack of any markings at the shuttle bus departure point. Furthermore, even though I had booked the return shuttle the day before, and it was the first departure of the day, it seems there was a mix-up and they couldn't even pick me up before it departed. Because I called about 10 minutes past the scheduled time, it arrived 20 minutes later, almost full with only one seat remaining. While this isn't the hotel's fault, I felt the lack of markings at the departure point was something the hotel could have addressed, so I'm mentioning it.

Unfortunately, our family stay at the NH Collection Heidelberg in December 2025 left us somewhat disappointed. We had booked a family room, expecting the level of comfort typically associated with a four-star superior hotel, but our personal experience fell short in several areas.
In our room, the door and handle seemed loose and wobbly, which gave us a feeling of wear and reduced stability. One of the key cards did not function reliably, leading to multiple trips to the reception desk.
Upon arrival, we noticed some crumbs and minor debris on the floor, suggesting that housekeeping could have been more thorough in our case. Several pieces of furniture also showed visible scratches and signs of age.
We were surprised that slippers and bathrobes were not provided as standard in the room. Additionally, the in-room telephone for contacting reception was not working during our stay.
The most unsettling moment came in the morning: despite having placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, a staff member attempted to enter the room, which felt like an unnecessary intrusion on our privacy.
Overall, based solely on our personal experience during this visit, the hotel did not fully live up to the high standards we had anticipated from the NH Collection brand and its four-star superior rating. While the location in Heidelberg is excellent and convenient, we would likely consider alternative accommodations for any future family trips to the city.

It comes with hot food and cold cuts, cheese and on table side orders for eggs. I tried the shashouka but I don’t really like it because the cumin was too strong. I had lovely champagne for my breakfast and can’t complaint more. Coffee normal, tea selections are great! I would come back again to this chain hotel. The only bad things is the location is slight far from train station, we pulled 2 big luggages, 1 medium size luggage, 1 stroller all the way to the hotel and decided to call for taxi when we depart.

Afterall good stay and safe and quiet neighbourhood.

The hotel service, amenities, and meals were all excellent. It exceeded my expectations and was a complete satisfaction. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Heidelberg.

This is a truly perfect hotel, spacious and bright, with a striking design. It has two rooms, one inside and one outside, and the sofa bed in the outer room is incredibly comfortable and high-quality. The window overlooks the street, and the sound of church bells drifts in the breeze, evoking a sense of ethereal peace and tranquility... It's a style my children and I absolutely adore. The room also comes with a generous selection of food and beverages, all included in the room rate. The service charge accepts both credit and cash, which is very flexible. The bathroom sink plug was broken, so I called customer service. Upon opening the door, the handsome front desk guy came to fix it. Without a word, he took off his suit and quickly fixed it. This multi-person experience isn't limited to domestic use. My children said they probably waited for the repairman to arrive, and they didn't know when.
