The hotel was the perfect stopover on my way from the Netherlands to Switzerland. Super close to the highway, good bed and a very nice shower. What more do you need when looking for a “nap on the move”? Check out was 12 noon, which was great too as I had some online meetings before continuing my drive. So: I’ll be back :-)

The rooms are very small but clean.
A fridge, a microwave, and a small coffee machine for people who are staying longer than one night is needed

Everything seems very new. Crisp and clean rooms. Excellent bedding amd beautiful bathrooms. Can walk to the local bus stop. Friendly staff amd great air conditioning.

Very clean. High quality bedding. Everything is fresh and new. You can walk to public bus. They also have keyless entry. Incredibly convenient. 10 minute car ride to heidelberg or eppelheim.

They “conveniently” offer check-in through a machine, however it is broken and they fail to inform you of such, so you arrive at 15:15 and have to wait until 17:00 when the reception reopens to finally enter your room. Confrontational and unapologetic response from the staff, which just makes everything 1000 times worse, as if you were the problem. Congrats 👌🏼

Check my review below from 2018. I stayed here again last night and for 1 night you really can't beat this place. Girl on reception was friendly, spoke great English, AC in the room which was great on a hot day, breakfast was fine. Shower and sink worked fine. Towels and basic bar of soap in there. It's no frills but this is a great example of a good Ibis Budget. If you want a no frills value for money 1 night stopover, this is the place. The only thing I don't like here is the congregation of workmen drinking and smoking on the tables outside the front door, but that's nitpicking and not really the fault of the hotel. Will I be back again? Yes!

Location was great near the motorway, parking space available..... But no soap in the shower and Air conditioning system is not working properly in the room. To hot in summer time. No warm breakfast choice just only cold breakfast. Not good for disabled people because no lift elevator in hotel... Overall its ok for one night stay in this price.
