One of the best hotels.we have stayed in our 18 days in Germany. Rooms are spacious and cosy. Staff is helpful. We have experienced a fair share of racism in Germany hospitality. Best western stands out in this aspect as the behavior is consistent among all staff, friendly and polite regardless of race or language. The location is peaceful and the view to the river is beautiful. Rooms: The bathrooms are starting to show their age. Also the floors or the wall-to-wall carpets seem worn-out. Otherwise, the rooms are rather okey. Compared to hotels with similar prising, rooms are quite old. Service: The breakfast is good and has a sufficient number of options. The cleaning and service worked well.

The rooms were great. A very nice hotel in agreat location. We could easily walk to old town and the market square. The only thing is that there are not coffee makers in the rooms. You had to pay downstairs for coffee. Very clean and quiet hotel.

A great choice for staying in Hamburg but outside of the historic city center. You can easily access the historic center via the bus stop located directly across the street which runs are fairly reliable intervals and, in turn, grants you walking access to a wide variety of amazing German restaurants, pubs, and shops.

An outdated hotel. Clean and with comfortable beds. The breakfast was fine. The staff was friendly. Free covered parking is available under the hotel. Dinner is not available. However, you can dine in the surrounding area (although many places in Germany are closed on Mondays).

This is a B&B hotel. It's the last one left. The room is small but clean. You need to go to the public parking lot to park your car. It's a two-minute walk from the old town. It's very convenient. You need to use a key to open the door. If you come back late at night, you have to open the door yourself.

Very well situated Hotel with good service. We made self-check-in without any problem, stayed a night and paid in the morning. Room was clean and equipped as it was described on a website. Good hotel in the middle of the old town. Large, well furnished room and a very good choice for breakfast. Restaurant was good, very busy but with a great atmosphere. Being in the old town was great and the location let us wander this medieval town with ease.

Here you can drink draft beer from 4 Bamberg breweries ( Mahr , Spezial , Schlenkerla, Kessmann) and 2 more by the bottle Göller and Maisels. So stopping here helps you try a good variety of local Bamberg Beer.

Great place to spend a night. The rate i paid was amazing, even though it wasn't quite in the center. The room was smallish, but i loved how modern and neat it was. Super quiet as well. Nice little hotel, as centrally located as possible. Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and cozy. The bed an pillows weren't terrible but not as comfortable as expected. The breakfast buffet was rather poor with little choice. There is no parking. All in all a good place for a 2 day city break, where you only need a place to sleep and shower.

A good walk from the central Bamberg along the riverside, which was nice. Decent breakfast, good, clean rooms. Check in and check out was easy and fast.

The woman is super gentle; the hotel is good for a fast stay because is little and not so fashionable but comfortable and clean enough. Also the prices are super fear including the breakfast. Bad points: The internet is not good at all, so if you’re traveling for business I recommend you be careful. Great beer, fantastic pizza! Really friendly too, despite our abject inability to speak any German... Easily reached by bus from Bamberg, but a fairly easy walk along the river too (if, for example, you encounter a bus strike like we did!)

Location is a traditional restaurant with Italien and german food. It is comfortable and clean. We just came there for a drink, but even though the restaurant was nearly empty because of the early evening hours we were told that this is not possible, because of reservations. We then could assure the waitress that we would just take 1 single beer at the bar, which we then got with some mumbeling.

Overall a good hotel to stay at. Good price, killer AC (especially needed when it was 36+ outside), very quiet, and nice rooms. Very pleasant stay at the B&B Hotel Bamberg – everything was just right! Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and great value for money. The location is convenient, and the breakfast was tasty. The only downside: parking spaces are a bit limited – if you arrive late, you might need a bit of luck. Otherwise, absolutely recommendable!

The hotel is wonderful, with friendly staff and more than enough to get by. There is a supermarket about 1km away and a few restaurants close by. The old town is a bit far away with about 2.2km walk until you reach it. When you get to the old town there are wonderful restaurants and shops all along the roads. Really enjoyed the town!

Very good value for money! My family and I enjoyed both the comfortable room and high quality breakfast. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far away from the city center but we found a free parking place at the Boathouse and walked from there to the center. Do recommend to stay in Bamberg!

We arrived during the closed reception period, but were still helped from the 'breakfast room' staff adjacent; they locked our bags in the reception until it reopened. We had a very helpful receptionist and even though the info centre was close by, we never needed to go there as she imparted useful info tailored for us and the locale. Very unique check-in after hours -- uses a code box to get key -- really liked it. Highly recommend property. It was in a good area of town to walk anywhere to restraunts and bars. Was clean and easy to check into -- highly recommend. We had room 10 that is two single beds and worked out great for our singles travel. Highly recommend -- would absolutely stay here again
