Very well situated Hotel with good service. We made self-check-in without any problem, stayed a night and paid in the morning. Room was clean and equipped as it was described on a website. In the end, we left the hotel and I've forgotten my jacket. They called me back in 20 minutes. Can only recommend!

There're about 20-25 parking slots on a territory of a hotel and they are not asking for an additional fee for that.

Our least favorite hotel stay. Breakfast is not included. Hotel is pricey. Water provided but no bottle opener to open it. Safe broken and staff unable to provide help. No staff available after 6 pm and pretty isolated from town. If arrive after hours an will be sent in German so not very helpful.

Above and Beyond Service with. A View! First, the hotel reception counter is also the cake display. What a welcome! The location is a long uphill walk from the center but doable for the fit and best in sunny weather conditions. Free parking within the fenced area of the hotel in what seems like a safe and secure neighborhood. The rooms are nice sized although the bathroom very small, yet efficient. Super fresh and yummy breakfast with something for everyone. But this hotel will stand out in our memories for the wonderful panoramic view of Bamberg AND the exceptional service from Janine. You see, the Euro Cup games were one reason for our trip to Europe and watching them very important. We had inquired upon check-in about watching at the hotel should we not find a place in town. We watched the earlier game at the Brasserie with an excellent meal! Rain prompted an early taxi back. Janine had kindly left a note on our door. My husband and our travel companions, another couple, enjoyed a private viewing with one click of the "on" button on the remote. A late game in our lounge wear was so enjoyable and a holiday treat!

I could not enter the hotel?????
No reception after 6pm is this a hotel or cafe??????????
Paid for another hotel same night. 3 rooms as we were 3 ppl. Money back!!!!!

Delicious cakes and coffee.
Supplement: Breakfast buffet rather suboptimal. Small selection, quite carelessly arranged, not enough Croissants. Was already times better.

Very quiet location but on foot or with the Bus at the Cathedral or in the city centre. Nice and helpful staff. The selection and especially the quality of the Breakfast is, considering the price, really very good.
All round recommended!

Beautiful, nice Hotel. Fantastic view of Bamberg and close to the domsplatz - Bamberg-stranger in a dream.
The Breakfast could offer more, but it was understandable, because our time is only 3-4 guests. What was offered was very tasty and sufficient.
The rooms are very clean, large and nicely decorated.
The Wi-Fi reception is excellent and free

By chance I ended up with my son at the mountain castle. Actually we wanted to stay just one night in Bamberg, Germany, but because of the friendly welcome and the great rooms we have decided to fast one more night to do it. The room was TOP!! The staff was SUPER friendly! The Breakfast was great! On good Friday, not a sausage (as it should be (in Bavaria), but for this salmon, cheese, muesli, Antipasti and tomato and Mozzarella...... Top quality!!!
The view over Bamberg is Stunning!!! The staff was Super friendly (despite the Stress), The room very, very clean. In short, we have felt ourselves very well. I've been 19 years in the foreign service, and rarely have I booked a Hotel with this quality, and never such a fair price!! I'll be on all cases. Many greetings from Munich.

Very cosy, small Hotel in super location and very friendly staff! The Hotel has a Café with an outdoor terrace. From the terrace and the city-facing double rooms have a fabulous panoramic view over Bamberg. The selection at the Breakfast buffet is small but fine! Tastefully furnished rooms. All in all, the Hotel Bergschlösschen is highly recommend to you!!

Great Hotel. I have never been in Bamberg and a lot of time, we also had to visit the city. From our bed we could look at the whole of Bamberg, down - gorgeous!
The staff was very friendly and uncomplicated. This year, we check in again there :-).
