The location is peaceful and the view to the river is beautiful. Rooms: The bathrooms are starting to show their age. Also the floors or the wall-to-wall carpets seem worn-out. Otherwise, the rooms are rather okey. Compared to hotels with similar prising, rooms are quite old. Service: The breakfast is good and has a sufficient number of options. It is not far from the train station, and there is a bus stop across the street. Basically all buses go to the bus terminal in the city center in 2 stops.

We did not take advantage of the breakfast. We left the location. It was quiet away from all the business. Great shopping. Just ride around the block about a 7 to 8 minute walk to the old town. The rooms were quirky but big and spacious. We had big windows we could open for ventilation. AC does not seem to work as was our experience at every hotel throughout Germany. I would recommend this place.

Good environment and good service

I had a nice stay with my family here. The rooms were basic but comfortable and the location was very accessible. Parking was easy and safe. The room came with a single soap for hands/body/hair, but its Ibis so I wasn’t expecting very much anyway. Glasses for brushing teeth were available near the reception if you need them. Overall, it’s good enough for a short stay.

A great choice for staying in Hamburg but outside of the historic city center. You can easily access the historic center via the bus stop located directly across the street which runs are fairly reliable intervals and, in turn, grants you walking access to a wide variety of amazing German restaurants, pubs, and shops.

This is a B&B hotel. It's the last one left. The room is small but clean. You need to go to the public parking lot to park your car. It's a two-minute walk from the old town. It's very convenient. Great beer, fantastic pizza! Really friendly too, despite our abject inability to speak any German... Easily reached by bus from Bamberg, but a fairly easy walk along the river too (if, for example, you encounter a bus strike like we did!)

Location is a traditional restaurant with Italien and german food. It is comfortable and clean. We just came there for a drink, but even though the restaurant was nearly empty because of the early evening hours we were told that this is not possible, because of reservations. We then could assure the waitress that we would just take 1 single beer at the bar, which we then got with some mumbeling.

I was here a few years back pre covid Back then there was a manned reception. This time I arrived later in the evening. No manned reception.. many phone calls to get code to enter hotel/room. As somebody with mobility issues being stood outside with chairs chained together and so impossible to sit on , in rain for 40 plus minutes was not fun. Once inside was fine.. lovely room etc.

We give three stars because we find the quality-price ratio not well balanced. We paid 80€ for one night on a Friday. The room was clean but too small. On top of that, there were no toiletteries, nor coffee or tea bags. We were really provided for just basic needs. On the other hand, the receptionist was nice and friendly, and the position of the hotel was perfect, very central.

I really love this place! It is an old, traditional house, renovated and used as a hotel. It is huge!!! It has a sense of a mansion of the old times. The people here are really nice too! My only problem is the toilets. They are tiny tiny rooms. My bathroom has a bathtube inside but no room to take even a step. Other than that, the place is just perfect!
