Charged to upgrade room as the original was so small double bed had one side not accessible as against a wall. Staff, although pleasant, did not seem to be supervised,

With this price there is no bottle of water, boby lotion or slippers provided. The check out time is at 11am but at 9am the staff opened my door and checked. I was still in bed. They didnt even say sorry. The location is good. The gym is very well equipped. The breakfast was ok. It is typical german breakfast. The check in process was easy and quick.

Good location and friendly reception staff, but overall disappointing. We had requested twin beds months in advance, yet arrived to find one double bed. The room was small, very hot with no air conditioning, and the sheets had stains which we had to replace ourselves. Housekeeping was inconsistent and the room was only half-cleaned during our stay. Curtains did not block light, making it hard to sleep...

Staff was rude. The windows in my room had huge cracks in them all the way across. Good location next to the train station.

This hotel is very modern on the outside and in common areas. As soon as you get to your room you are met with a very outdated space that does not match the vide of the hotel common areas. The curtains were dusty, the carpet was missing, and the furnishings are very worn. The bathroom looks like it may have been recently updated with new tiles. Enjoyable stay with spa & fitness area My second stay in Hotel Königshof. I really like this hotel because of its location close to the train station. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation with decent spa and fitness area. The beds in our room were not very comfortable because of the mattresses, otherwise the room was very clean. This was a wonderful choice for a quiet place to stay in Garmish-Partenkirchen. Phillip, a 3rd generation owner / manager of the hotel was incredibly helpful in many respects and speaks excellent English. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood just a short stroll from a main shopping street with many great eating options. Room had a balcony with an amazing view of the mountains. Had to provide passports...

The room is comfortable. There is lift for disable person like me. The parking is free. Breakfast is good and they serve each person well. The staff are very nice.

You cannot beat the location. You will spend more time waiting for the lights to change to cross the streets than you will walking to the old city. If you have a room facing the river, you will see the city and castle from your room. It's in a great location, the room was great, and the staff helpful. It's a bit too far from the train station to walk, so I would take a taxi/uber/bus to get to the hotel...

Great hotel Amazing, cozy hotel in Garmisch! Great location, fantastic room, comfortable bed and great breakfast! Hotel seems new and it is super clean. Above all the staff was super welcoming and friendly! Staff hard to find. Thought the room would have a view but no view it seemed it was outside the restaurant kind of loud. They said there was not a room to switch . Did have gorgeous view from outside.

Room was nice and spacious! Bed was really comfy. Get a room with a balcony if you can, the view is gorgeous. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The on site restaurant was also delicious!

The hotel has an indoor pool, dry sauna, and daily breakfast. The staff were wonderful. The location is also great, near the center of town. The downsides are as follows: the basic rooms are very small and the queen beds are actually two twin beds side-by-side, a small shower that would not accomodate anyone larger in size and the entire bathroom is tiny also, and most importantly for some people...

Great family run hotel with very central location close to the train station and also the town centre. Extremely clean, cosy Bavarian atmosphere, friendly staff, also the lady gave great recommendations on what to see and do. There’s also a pool and sauna area, garden with views of the mountains to relax in the warmer weather, plus ski room for skis with boot warmer for skiing enthusiasts in winter

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Roter Hahn. The room was very comfortable and quiet and had a superb view of the Zugspitze. Waking each morning to see the sun rising on the mountain was incredible!!!! The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The walk to the train station was 5 min and to the main street in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was not much further Simply an awesome place to use...

Fantastic location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had a short walk into Garmisch each evening for dinner and/or drinks and as we drove it was centrally located to sites we wanted to see. The swimming pool was also welcomed with temperatures in the 30 Celsius range during our stay. Would definitely return.
