The hotel is very well manteined, cosy and warm. The room was big enough and the shower separated from the toilet was a very smart combination. The view from the room, toward the mountains, takes your breath away. I apprecciate a lot the breakfast as well. Last, but not least, I want to report the extreme kindness of the personell working there at the hotel, in particular the Tunisian guy Hatim that made all his possible to make our stay as much comfortable as possible. Very much appreciated.

Super nice and cozy hotel in Garmisch! Would love to stay longer here. The view from the balcony, even you just stand in front of the hotel you will see an amazing view. Breakfast was also nice. The service was great too. Will definitely go back there again!!

If you want a peaceful, warm place to stay overnight or 2 (more) you can surely choose the place. There is not much activity to do rather than sitting on the balcony with coffee or tea and enjoying the mountainous view. The people were friendly and helpful.

The staff was very kind and available in case of need.
Rooms were clean, bathroom too.
Location is good and the city center of Garmisch is reachable in 10 min.
The hotel is basic but it was a good stay without complaints.
Nonetheless, the price is not cheap as you would expect for such an accommodation, but this is the same for every hotel in Garmisch.

A Wonderful Stay with the Best European Breakfast!

I had such a lovely stay at your hotel and wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

To start, the breakfast was absolutely the best European breakfast I’ve ever had. I especially enjoyed the bacon, ham, and the colorful boiled eggs—everything was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The breakfast area also offered a charming view, which made each morning even more enjoyable.

The hotel's location is another big plus—just an 8-minute walk from Garmisch Station, making it very convenient. I also loved the scenic path next to the hotel, perfect for a morning jog or a peaceful evening walk. The wide green fields along the route made me feel like I had stepped into a fairytale.

The surrounding area is simply breathtaking, with views of the majestic Alps and the charming Bavarian-style houses that add so much character to the town.

Thank you again for a memorable experience. I would love to return in the future!

We stayed here for a night in July and it was wonderful. The place is very close walking distance to Partenkirchen and the hosts were so wonderfully hospitable. The breakfast was plentiful with many options and my only regret was honestly not staying longer to fully take advantage of the accommodations!

Service of the host was great – welcoming and very friendly. Garmisch and its surrounding mountains create an atmosphere to enjoy a stay in Haus Trifthof. Just a couple of minutes walking distance to the city centre with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Room was more than nice and clean with comfortable bed and patio seating. Breakfast was ample, fresh and tasty. I would definitely return to stay again and recommend.
