Best Hotels in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We have stayed here five times recently, every stay was great, good breakfast, friendly staff, great pool and spa, not many Mountain View’s ( due to weather) usually fantastic views though

Ski/Spa in Germany hidden gem Just came down for one night but enjoyed the spa facilities. Buffet dinner was good for the money and hotel was very pleasant with modern decor styling

Great hotel and amenities This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel, we love the breakfast and afternoon cake and coffee, the spa facilities are great and relaxing, rooms are modern and clean, my only fault is that if you’re there for 7 nights they should give you a room down the quiet end of the hotel,

This hotel always has a lovely atmosphere. We had a problem with streaming service in our room, someone came to look at it, but it wasn’t repaired by time we left. We only had world news to watch in evening

We enjoyed using the pool, although the jacuzzi was only lukewarm, which made it difficult to use in the cold weather, so we only went once. The breakfast offers a great variety of options

Excellent Mountain View and the staff was exceptional. They genuinely elevated the stay from a good one to a great one.

I love how comfortable the bed is! I rested super well! The room was spotless. The staff has been very nice and has a good location. There is a bank nearby and a couple of convenient stores

Charming old world hotel with authentic details. Comfortable room with all amenities. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, had omelet station in addition to large spread of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits and more

The room is clean and it feels like you are back on the middle ages. It is located in the middle of the a tourist spot but it is quiet and peaceful. We had a great time!

Ignore the bad reviews and be as welcoming as you would like to be treated! The rooms are a perfect blend of modern conveniences while honoring the historic architecture. Service? Impeccable in every area

Had a traditional alpine feel to the hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a nice location. Pro tip get a room not on the street side the church bells are loud.

Good location and friendly reception staff, but overall disappointing. We had requested twin beds months in advance, yet arrived to find one double bed

Staff was rude. The windows in my room had huge cracks in them all the way across. Good location next to the train station.

Enjoyable stay with spa & fitness area My second stay in Hotel Königshof. I really like this hotel because of its location close to the train station

The curtains were dusty, the carpet was missing, and the furnishings are very worn. The bathroom looks like it may have been recently updated with new tiles. The views from the room were also amazing, as was breakfast

Curtains did not block light, making it hard to sleep, and the elevator was unreliable. For the price, the quality felt poor. The reception team remained polite and helpful, but the service was really minimal

The room was small, very hot with no air conditioning, and the sheets had stains which we had to replace ourselves. Housekeeping was inconsistent and the room was only half-cleaned during our stay

Cleaned room, good size and nice view of the court yard. Swimming pool was very refreshing. Jacuzzi was powerfully and clean. Breakfast and dinner were excellent

Breakfasts were great with a brilliant choice of Continental style and UK-type style. Location was not spectacular in scenery, but being in the best part of town & handy shops; so I say 5 Stars

Wonderful hotel with courteous, polite and helpful staff. Rooms are neat and clean with amazing mountain views. One of the best stays we have ever had

Really Brilliant and good value. Such a tidy place, friendly and organised. The Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom to the highest standard

The location is also a plus as it's walking distance from station and City center. A small walk on the right side of the hotel leads to a great view of mountain with valleys

Beautiful location! It snowed the entire time we were there. It felt like we were in a gorgeous snow globe! Rooms were clean. The shining light of the trip was the food. The best meals we have ever eaten

I know they offer day passes to people not staying at the hotel. In my opinion, if you are offering spa access to people not staying at the hotel, the spa spaces could be expanded

The only critique I have is the size of the spa spaces. It seemed crowded and at times, difficult to find a place to sit and relax because all the spaces were taken

Whenever I'm in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, I make a point of heading up to the restaurant at Hotel Das Graseck—it's become one of my favorite rituals

But what I love even more is descending on foot through the paths that lead down to the Partnachklamm —it's such a scenic way to arrive or leave, walking those trails along the river with the dramatic gorge views, wooden bridges, and tunnels

Incredible and unique setting, which unfolds upon arrival as you take the cable car from the valley below, above the Aqua-blue alpine river, across the treetops and then finally you see the hotel nestled in the trees at the edge of an alpine meadow plateau

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the front desk man that can speak very good English help me a lot, give me a lot of information when I travelled in Garmisch Patenkirchen

And the good point is the front desk is remain open when it is around 23. 30👍This hotel I will said totally value for money

The front desk staff were very helpful and gave me a guide to the accommodations. I only realized after reading it carefully the next day that there was free coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages

In terms of value for money, I think this is one of the best hotels in the area. For a very reasonable price, the rooms are comfortable and have balconies with lovely views

One of the best hotel experiences I've had! I usually don't review hotels as I've come to expect the same experience over time but this hotel was exceptional

Friendly and nice hotel where we enjoyed our stays. The rooms on the annex across the street are classic design. We stayed in the top room with a beautiful view over the mountain side

This was a wonderful choice for a quiet place to stay in Garmish-Partenkirchen. Phillip, a 3rd generation owner / manager of the hotel was incredibly helpful in many respects and speaks excellent English

The room is comfortable. There is lift for disable person like me. The parking is free. Breakfast is good and they serve each person well. The staff are very nice.

Above all the staff was super welcoming and friendly! We will for sure come back next time we are in the area :) we loved all the small details and touches throughout the hotel - small example are Snoopy eggs from the breakfast buffet :)) hotel also has a nice gym and beautiful sauna

You will spend more time waiting for the lights to change to cross the streets than you will walking to the old city. If you have a room facing the river, you will see the city and castle from your room

Had to provide passports when checking in (very common) and Phillip noticed my wife's birthday was the next day and they arranged a special treat for her. Really a nice and personable touch

This is a very nice hotel with amazing views! I had a cozy & clean room with a comfortable bed, a balcony with chairs and table to enjoy the alpine air and panorama of the Alps, a small but modern bathroom with a walk in shower and a filling breakfast in the morning in a Bavarian style spacious room with tall windows, providing more views

Nice and cozy hotel with everything you need. There is an Italian restaurant as well with very delicious authentic cuisine!

The hotel was actually very nice. The staff was so nice and accommodating! The only real complaint (which is out of the staffs hands but need to warn others about) was a parking ticket for being parked in the lot

Amazing hotel - it has everything one might need, location is beautiful, service is excellent, food is great at breakfast, lunch and especially dinner, spa offers sauna and inside/outside pools

Special thanks to the owner for personally picking me up after my climb of the Alpspitze (the last shuttle had just left). If I have to make one remark: there is only one booking option, which is full board

Since we were out hiking all day, we didn’t make use of the lunch. I asked if we could get a picnic instead, and while that was possible, it came with an extra charge rather than replacing the lunch

I wasn’t too happy about that, especially considering we had already paid quite a substantial amount for five days

The hotel has an indoor pool, dry sauna, and daily breakfast. The location is also great, near the center of town

There’s also a pool and sauna area, garden with views of the mountains to relax in the warmer weather, plus ski room for skis with boot warmer for skiing enthusiasts in winter

Extremely clean, cosy Bavarian atmosphere, friendly staff, also the lady gave great recommendations on what to see and do

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Roter Hahn. The room was very comfortable and quiet and had a superb view of the Zugspitze

Waking each morning to see the sun rising on the mountain was incredible!!!! The staff was very friendly

A Wonderful Stay with the Best European Breakfast! I had such a lovely stay at your hotel and wanted to take a moment to say thank you. To start, the breakfast was absolutely the best European breakfast I’ve ever had

The staff was very kind and available in case of need. Rooms were clean, bathroom too. Location is good and the city center of Garmisch is reachable in 10 min. The hotel is basic but it was a good stay without complaints

I especially enjoyed the bacon, ham, and the colorful boiled eggs—everything was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The breakfast area also offered a charming view, which made each morning even more enjoyable

The hotel's location is another big plus—just an 8-minute walk from Garmisch Station, making it very convenient. I also loved the scenic path next to the hotel, perfect for a morning jog or a peaceful evening walk

The hotel is very well manteined, cosy and warm. The room was big enough and the shower separated from the toilet was a very smart combination. The view from the room, toward the mountains, takes your breath away
