This was our second time vacationing there. The kids loved it!!! The Kids Club was great, the food was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable. The cleaning team was super friendly, considerate, and thoughtful... requests like an extra pillow were taken care of immediately. The childcare was the absolute highlight!!!

Pleasant hotel with no frills, but spacious apartments, swimming pool and sauna. Great location with hiking trails / trails directly behind the hotel. Both the stay in the hotel and the food in the restaurant were excellent. Very attentive and friendly service and super delicious fresh food. It's hard to choose from the selection on the menu, but you can't go wrong anyway. It just tastes good. We'd love to come by again.

The other ratings are not quite fair, you cannot expect a Hilton when booking a room here. It is a lower cost option in Bayreuth, but they also offer a good transfer option to and from the opera house. It is a bit out of the city, but the bus stop is in front of the hotel. We had a short stay at the hotel. The location is ok , close the city center , staffs are friendly , room is small but cozy ,good window view . Parking is 8 euros per night , kettle is free with 20 euros as a deposit.

The service is poor, the air conditioner in the room does not heat the room, and you have to go to the front desk to get a hair dryer. This brand has no user-friendly thinking at all, and they only make things difficult for customers to make things convenient for themselves.

The environment, service and location are impeccable. It's very convenient to go to the theater on foot.

This youth hostel is more expensive than others, but it also offers a lot more. There is a lot of areas where you can spend time as a group, and at breakfast there are uncommon options like dried banana and - at select days, possibly on weekends? - smoothies. The thing we disliked most is having only one key card per room. If you don't mind this, I can fully recommend this hostel.

The architecture of the hostel was very nice and modern. Also, it had enough room for other activities like sports etc. I’ve also liked the outdoor balconies. Unfortunately, they didn’t have vegan options for food, only vegetarian. Hopefully, this can be improved.

It is close to the train station and was recently revampled.

The staff are excellent from the front desk to breakfast room to house-keeping. My room was 15 meters from the train station and I could hear announcements and obviously, trains. However, with the windows and doors closed, it was surprisingly quiet.

We had chosen the hotel because dogs are allowed and I must say that I was positively surprised by the friendly welcome that both we and the dogs had when we arrived. Amazing location, clean and cozy room. The only thing is that they put two single blankets on a double bed which both were considerably short and narrow for a guy like me (185cm). I need to heat up the room it was a little cold for me, but unfortunately the air-conditioning was set to central setting which did not allow me to increase the temperature. Was looking for hotel with 2 beds and air conditioning and landed on this one. Last minute trip changes so we were left with limited options. It is an old hotel but the room was clean and the air worked well. Parking was easy with free parking as well as parking deck if free area is full.

We spend a night at this hotel when we had opera tickets in August. The hotel is well geared up for the festival, with shuttle buses for guests to and from performances (€5 pp fee for return) and a light buffet laid on for departing opera goers. It's a very ordinary hotel. Because it's Sunday, you have to operate the machine yourself, but the location is very good. As soon as you go out, you will find the old town of Bayreuth. It is very convenient to various attractions.

I couldn't find a campsite in Bayreuth, so I stayed at Poseidon. It was great because it accommodated four people. The location was right next to the central square, so it was perfect for a walk and a beer. I highly recommend coming with friends... But please be patient if you're coming with a partner.

It was an old hotel. Every equipment in the room was very old. TV in my room had no signal and didn't work. It was cleaned up in the room. When I checked in, a reception lady said only two times, "your name?" and "room number 17".

This is a wonderful hotel that makes any visit to the Bayreuth Wagner Festival extremely special. Little touches include the little note at breakfast announcing the forthcoming performance, the apéro in the afternoon before a shuttle-bus trip to and from the Festspielhaus and the option to dine after a performance. Even seeing the music on the stave above the beds is charming.

The place itself is super cool, it has a great atmosphere. My husband's steak was amazing, I had the fish which was pretty good. We loved the drinks selection, but it took a while for the server to take our orders. All in all we liked it, would recommend and will be coming back!

By reading the reviews I found out that some of the rooms are fully refurbished, so for that reason I was interested in booking this hotel.
