Let’s start with the good:
- Receptionist was friendly and informative, check-in process was quick and easy.
- The location was in the centre of town and while the restaurant was fully booked that evening, it was easy to find other places for dinner.
- The breakfast selection was better than most hotels I stay at for work.
Unfortunately, there were also things that weren’t so good:
- The rooms are noisy and you can hear people talk loudly in the corridor. I was woken up at 5 am by what sounded like someone cleaning (it sounded like something metallic hitting the wall corners systematically).
- I travelled for work and need the full and correct name and address on the invoice. When the name and address on the emailed invoice turned out to be wrong, it took several days before I received a reply with the correction. It is still not 100% accurate, but it is now acceptable at least.
The village Veitshöchheim offers a beautiful Rokokogarten with an impressive palace.
