Hotel & Apartments Zarenhof Berlin Friedrichshain in Berlin

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The service was excellent, as was the breakfast which was excellent value. The hotel itself if close to the U-Bahn and not far Ron Alexanderplatz on the train. It is situated in a quiet residential area and is surrounded by a wide range of excellent bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. A special mention should go to the wonderful Katherine, the late shift receptionist who is really friendly and speaks excellent English. She is a real asset to this hotel. In conclusion, I recommend this hotel. It is clean, comfortable and excellent value and on my return to Berlin I will not hesitate to stay here again.

Good hotel in a great location, close to good restaurant's, the subway and other transit routes, Stayed here twice as its close to where my family live. Staff on reception are always smart, professional and polite. Hotel Zarenhof have another hotel on Schonhauser Allee in the Prenzlauer Berg area, again its excellent. Look forward to my next trip.

Large room with King Size bed and satellite HD tv, very quiet because of the courtyard page, download a located to relax ,sleep or otherwise. Rooms and Hotel very cozy and clean!
Only the shower is not for people with Overweight suitable as it is very narrow and tight.
Breakfast from the Buffet who wants to get this, but also in the many surrounding cafes far cheaper.
Unfortunately, there are compromises in the Service. After the 2 night it was forgotten to make my bed. Well it can happen.
Reception very friendly and helpful.
Wi-Fi throughout the house available free of charge and stable, however, you will be kicked after a certain amount of time out;(

Popular Scene Quarter.
Many Bars and pubs in the vicinity invite you to go Out! To reach everything well on foot.
Good links, but also in the direction of "Alex"by public Bus and train.
Parking here is difficult and Parking meters you have to expect now in Berlin!
All in all, I can recommend the zarenhof.

A good, straightforward Hotel. I can't believe how quiet the rooms were, although the Simon-Dach-street with its many pubs so close. We would book here again.

Good location, close to public transit. Simple rooms but comfortable. Close to lots of great restaurants.
