2 star hotels in Berlin

not the best location, but there is a train station about a 15 min walk away.

It was okay, I guess. I've stayed at this brand before in Europe, and it usually attracts a younger crowd. This time, though, checkout was before 10 AM, which I knew. But the staff member came knocking on my door at 9:11 AM to rush me out to clean the room. It was really annoying, like shooing someone away. Don't customers naturally check out on time? If I go over, you can just charge me accordingly...

Room was nice but the bunk beds were not made. We requested for room service but no service were provided. It is pretty far from train and the bus only comes every 20 minutes, very inconvenience to move around.

It’s a bit small comparing to other hotel. The customer service in the counter is bit slow, the line is long. But overall is satisfactory.

Quiet neighbourhood in the city, with a great view! Fast connection to buses and a small walk to U-Bahn or S-Bahn. Three big supermarkets nearby (Aldi, Edeka, Lidl). Friendly staff. Easy check-out.

Solo female in mixed dorm I stayed in a mixed dorm - the cheapest option. It was fine, though unfortunately I only had boy roomates, and as a solo female traveller, that made me a little uncomfortable, but I knew the risk when choosing a mixed dorm (female only wasn't available). Our shared toilet smelt like pee from the day I first arrived and till I left, which wasn't exactly a pleasent experience...

I was here only for a few hours, because my bus was starting at night 1:15 from ZOB. So I was searching for smthg quite and they gave my a quite room. Alano Pizza is only 5 minutes away: 2 EUR for a mini pizza, but they have also other pizzas. I should come back to here with some friends.

I had a private room and bathroom and this is definitely a value for tourists who need a place to sleep (no spa days at the hotel). Not fancy, but a good value.

The location and price are amazing. In general, the staff is good except for the night shift guy in charge, I try to address a concern due to the noise of a group of students next door and he totally ignored me, making faces like: what you want me to do? The rest ok

Happy Hotel Berlin was a spacious, dynamic and restful place to stay. I enjoyed the suggestions of places to go at the entrance, the fun of meeting new folx in group accommodations, and the relaxed atmosphere throughout. A spot-on hostel experience!

Clean hotel near many sights and good transport link to the airport a 10 minute walk to potzdamerplatz station ,no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms though

I stayed there myself in a 4 bed dormitory room. It was an excellent room and I liked the service. But it is better to have a socket near the bed for charging. They have two usb charging ports near every beds but it is better to have a c port or a charging socket. But overall, I liked it. Especially the staffs are always helpful. I am highly recommend it to whom who are looking for a cheap accommodation

It was easy to access from tram station, nice staffs. We have to use stairs from 7 to 8 floor, it can be hard. Guest kitchen was honestly messy and not clean, but it is the hostel. There was hair dryer, shower, there were everything that I needed. It was good staying.

A hotel with good rooms, typical of the Ibis chain. We booked a room with a balcony, plenty of space, and a separate bathroom. The location is very convenient, close to the metro station and shops and restaurants. The breakfast is good, but always the same.

Amazing location, friendly staff and best services

The room is not that pretty, but the location is really great. You can walk to all the famous places in the Mite district, and the tram, subway, and bus stations are all right in front. However, since the station is right in front, it is a bit noisy at night. There is a water purifier in the lobby, and you can store your luggage before and after check-in, which is nice.

The hotel is conveniently located near Alexanderplatz metro station and a tram stop at the intersection. There are vending machines and a lounge area on the first floor. The rooms are clean and tidy.

This is a very big hostel with hundreds of beds, though it did not feel cramped or loud. I had a quiet stay.   I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dorm with three bunk beds and en-suite. The toilet and shower are separate which makes use easier. The staff were great and the amenities were nice, plus a plug in the wall style fan in the room for an american like me was awesome. My only real complaint was the shower head definitely needs to be cleaned and why are the toilet seats so small haha.

Honestly, the hotel's location is terrible; it feels quite out of the way. It was a bit of a stopover before heading somewhere else the next day, but you get what you pay for, like a dorm from a long time ago.

Although the location itself may not look good, there is only one tram line to Berlin Central Station on the M8, so it is easy to move around with a suitcase. However, you need to transfer to get to the main tourist spots, so be careful.

Very good location in Friedrichshain, Warschauer Staße and tram is just across the road. Lockers in rooms, no curtains on bunks. Bathrooms and shower were clean and well maintained. Kitchen had all your basic essentials, cutlery, oven, microwave, etc.

Average. It was built around 1980 so looks both out and inside are serviceable, but certainly nothing amazing. The room was smallish, but most importantly clean. Same thing with the bed sheets and towels. Breakfast is offered, but only a very basic one. One the positive side staff was nice and WLAN is stable and decently fast. So if you are staying for a night or two it's fine.

The house is getting old and cannot be overlooked, especially in the bathroom. But the room and bathroom were clean. The woman at the reception was friendly. The access to the parking spaces in the yard is definitely not for large cars. I was lucky and found a parking space 100 m further along the side of the road. The breakfast buffet was clear, but sufficient for my needs.

First thing I noticed about my room is that there was a large dead bug smashed into the floor of the bedroom. There was no shower curtain and the water pressure was so high that it spayed water across the bathroom.

Perfect location right beside S-Bahnhof Lichtenberg. The rooms are big and confortable, and they're reasonably priced. It has all the basic amenities you could need.
