Hotel Blankenfeld in Wetzlar

To avoid. After 18 hours of driving, at 10 pm, my husband and I booked a room in Blankenfeld. We've noticed a bar at the entrance and asked the receptionist if a quiet option is available. He answered- of course, and gave a key to a room immediately above the bar. We were too tired to ask for a change or to look for another hotel and decided to wait until the bar closes. Big mistake. Loud conversations turned into singing which stopped only after 2 am. Worst experience ever.
Other points - old furniture, cheap shapeless pillows, brocken shower. The curtains are too thin and don't protect from the street lights or the first rays of the morning sun at all.
To be fair I should mention that the hotel deducted the breakfast (2x8.50euros) from the bill.
Anyway, not worthy the price at all.
