Stayed here for 2 nights. Absolutely superb. So friendly. Room modern and cosy. Breakfast delicious and varied. Very short walk into Braunlage centre. Welcoming to bikers. Andreas let us put both motorcycles safely away in his garage. Would definitely return..

This hotel exceeded our expectations by far. Nice, clean and quiet. In walking distance to the center of Braunlage. They even had storage for our bikes there. Fantastic breakfast. And most of all: Maybe the friendliest host I have ever experienced in any hotel on the world.

We spent a week in Hotel Wappenhof, 3 couples and it was excellent! The host and his wife where very nice, open and service minded. the rooms where nice and the spacy breakfast room and also "lounge" was equipped with cold drinks and a possibility to make a cup of coffee in the afternoon. As a group it is nice to have a place to sit together in the evening. The Wappenhof is in walking distance to many good restaurants, and Braunlage is in the center of the Harz. The owners are very friendly and if you can't speak German they will make an effort to talk to you in English. The room was very clean and cozy, with a very large and comfortable bed! Breakfast is well served and varied.

Hotel is so recommended! The owner of the hotel is friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable, the blanket was so cosy. Breakfast is the best! I want to come back again! The location is very beautiful.

Stayed four nights, very friendly owners, delicious and varied breakfast, especially considering the size of the hotel. Calm and cozy atmosphere, far enough from the main road to enjoy a silent evening on the terrace. Would definitely chose Hotel Wappenhof again if we go back to Braunlage.
