Where to stay with pets in Braunlage

Very good stay can reccomend I had a very enjoyable stay at AHORN Harz Hotel Braunlage. The location is ideal for exploring the Harz mountains, and the views from the room were lovely

Staff were helpful and friendly, and there were plenty of amenities like the pool and sauna to enjoy after a day of hiking. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxing getaway — not luxurious, but well worth the stay

The buffet offered no healthy options, only the bread was tasty; it took forever to reset the tables, and wiping meant sweeping crumbs onto the floor, one rag for several tables, and no disinfection at all

The staff was unhelpful when we asked. We asked for a table on the terrace to be wiped dry and received the answer: "I'll be right away. " We're still waiting for that today

In a pinch for a night or two The view of the Wurmberg from the 9th floor was fantastic. With cushions on the chairs, the evenings would have been even more enjoyable

With better ventilation in the bathroom, it might not have smelled so musty. The breakfast service could be improved

- very good location in a pleasant green area near the hiking routes - restaurant team actuallly has enough people, so they are not looking stressed. They are friendly, and service is very quick and efficient

Ah but it anyway requires some planning: to parallelize spa visit, dinner and bar cause everything is open at the same time Despite points mentioned, overall vacation experience here is very good and relaxing, and, given that hotels costs are more than adequate for the services provided, I believe, some economy here and there is totally understandable

obit the parking was a bit small. comparing for such a nice hotel, other than that it was pretty nice. nice staff, rooms location.. I recommend it

Food is very delicious and actually has flavor ( which is not always the case for German hotels ) - spacious room with nice balcony - good sauna area, a bit small for the hotel capacity though, especially given opening hours Minor points which I noted as to be improved, however again for the price it is exactly on point - biggest pain: opening hours of the spa

Cleaning also on request, I believe it is still cleaned once in a while without asking, but we were staying not so long. Key from gym on request (so most likely machines are not very well cared) - no minibar in the room

You will see greenery as soon as you wake up. There is a well maintained sauna and indoor pool. We were happy to dive into the pool several times. If you ever stay at this hotel, then make use of the lounge they have

I booked the hotel seeing the 4 stars - and it was justified in all ways!! I think it is managed by a couple, sweet people and always there to help. The rooms were clean and well maintained and with balcony

The swimming pool is very clean and quite large. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired! A varied menu is offered in the evening. Very nice tasteful decorations throughout the house

Very friendly dutch couple hosting this hotel. Beautiful located and as a political/social scientist I was especially fascinated by the fact that this is just a few hundred meters from the old BRD/DDR-border

It was the best mattress we have ever slept on. The entire place is super clean, we got told that the place will be closed in November and that all bathrooms will be renovated, however our bathroom was very okay

Self-service fridge with drinks of all kinds, just note what you consume. The room was clean and nice with good decor and quality beds, a small fan would have been great for warm nights but not really a problem

Especially the owner who speaks really good English and always was worried about our experience at his hotel and trying to help at any situation! Breakfast is quite diverse with different types of cheese, ham and even salmon! The only thing I would ask to improve - we were staying in the apartment on the opposite side of the hotel and there was no WiFi, considering that mobile connection as well is...

Outstanding service, food and location

We went 4 persons for riding mountain bike and that worked out just perfect, with a big help from all the persons working at the hotel and we really felt like home :-) Room for the bikes, big apartment with great views and very clean

We stayed there for the weekend with our toddler. It's a fantastic hotel with a very good breakfast and a fair price. There's something for everyone at breakfast; even toddlers will find everything they could wish for

Unfortunately, there was a problem with the holiday home, but as a replacement, the owner offered us a stay at his Hotel Carlsruh. We were given a two-bedroom apartment for four people

Perfect location in the village. Only about 5 minutes to the shops and the cable car. The owners are very accommodating. Since it wasn't busy, we were even allowed into our room early in the morning

In the morning, a great breakfast is served at the table, with fresh orange juice, boiled or fried eggs (depending on your preference), everything was very clean and we didn't find it bothersome at all that the house was "a bit old"

We thought it was a perfect hotel for a familly, staff was friendly, very welcoming , the breakfast was great with fresh waffles cooked on demand. We sure will stay again as we come often to Braunlage.

We booked a room with a shared bathroom but we were offered the same money for a room with a shower and a toilet that was certainly nice

the hotel is close to the mountain, and we left the car at the parking lot and walked to the elevator foot with skis

We stayed for four days and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located right next to a toboggan/ski lift hill. From there, you can easily reach the town on foot. A great place for children to stay

The breakfast was amazing, loved the fresh bread every day, freshly baked customisable eggs, plenty of other choices like fresh waffles, yoghurt with toppings, and a good coffee machine

They also have a really nice Italian joint restaurant called “San Siro” which I suggest checking out. Overall amazing experience and location for me and my family and I look forward to coming here again over the winter!

I came here with my family for vacation, and I believe that we truly got our money’s worth with this location. If you are looking for somewhere affordable with proper quality, I strongly suggest coming here

It is a well-located hostel where you can relax well. The price is adequate for the quality. Delicious and very large breakfasts. The room I stayed in was spacious and very comfortable
