4 star hotels in Braunlage

There are a lot of nice hotels…but this one is outstanding. The people make the difference and the breakfast is excellent.

We have been twice to the hotel and liked it each time. Nice rooms, good food and good service

Restaurant: elegantly layed-out interior, modern and chic. Service was excellent and attentive. Meals presented well. Bar : nice atmosphere with football or music (depending on time of day and clientel). Good choice of beer, wines and spirits. Friendly staff!

Excellent food. Natural local ingredients, well blended and sophisticated flavours and good portion size. Modern design with good atmosphere and good service. Would recommend. Only used the restraunt.

The Restaurant of the hotel guests-is also open, we liked excellent. From the outside it looks due to the slightly strong light it a little uncomfortable, but Inside it looks different, very modern and you feel comfortable, also the owners are working on a Dimmer. Very nice, friendly, courteous, professional staff, well balanced menu, not to modern for this rather conservative place, but not too classic...

Very nice interior, but still very relaxed staff. Good food with good prices. In Braunlage probably the best place to have a nice evening.

Friendly and courteous staff, who accommodated us very obligingly. The location in Braunlage is also very good, the rooms are large and clean. Shower in the tub is not that nice. The hotel can certainly not do anything for the sometimes insane Corona requirements, but it makes the stay extremely uncomfortable, almost clinical.

Very nice place. Staff was very friendly and tried hard. Breakfast totally rich. Great swimming pool and enjoyed a pleasant massage. Had a nice weekend and will definitely come again.

Price and performance are not quite the same ... A nice hotel in a good location. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was great. Only the room was not as nice as you would imagine at 170 € / night. Still recommendable

We stayed at the Hotel Hohenzollern with two families for Walpurgis Night. The hotel staff, especially the two ladies at the front desk, were very, very nice and courteous. We were given valuable tips for the event in town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the wellness area with swimming pool was just great, the breakfast buffet was very extensive and tasty. Very nice little quiet hotel with swimming pool and sauna. The owner greets the guests personally and very friendly. We feel right at home. There are 2 rooms designed for dogs and their owners. Both are on the ground floor with a terrace. The swimming pool is very clean and quite large. We didn't use the sauna. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired! We love staying at this hotel, they have a fantastic breakfast buffet, owners are really friendly and caring, there's a nice pool and the overall ambiance is nice and cosy. I would definitely recommend it!

the best thing about this hotel is the breakfast i think! such a great variety of tasty food and drinks. a lot of love to detail. you can even have water, tea and coffee to go. our room was well designed, a blend of typical harz region style and modern industrial style. we had one of the bigger rooms and this is needed i guess. but we missed a sofa, a proper coffee maschine (there is a kettle, tea...

Fantastic location and very characteristic design and concept - every single detail has been paid attention to. Wonderful mountain feeling, great service and an amazing gym! Restaurant is 5* as well.

We spent the night here while driving through Germany. It's a hotel not like any other, a very individual and even wacky design which is actually quite relaxing. A very peaceful spot on the edge of Braunlage, with walks in the Harz starting from the doorstep. Very comfortable beds, friendly staff and a super breakfast.

PLUS: Nice interior with attention to detail, really great staff, AMAZING breakfast, places to hang out around the property, town is well located to explore Harz. MINUS: TINY bathroom, room (207) was above the breakfast area, so couldn't keep the window open in the mornings from about 6:45, sound insolation between the other rooms was so-so.
