Staff were helpful and friendly, and there were plenty of amenities like the pool and sauna to enjoy after a day of hiking. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxing getaway — not luxurious, but well worth the stay

The buffet offered no healthy options, only the bread was tasty; it took forever to reset the tables, and wiping meant sweeping crumbs onto the floor, one rag for several tables, and no disinfection at all

The staff was unhelpful when we asked. We asked for a table on the terrace to be wiped dry and received the answer: "I'll be right away. " We're still waiting for that today

In a pinch for a night or two The view of the Wurmberg from the 9th floor was fantastic. With cushions on the chairs, the evenings would have been even more enjoyable

With better ventilation in the bathroom, it might not have smelled so musty. The breakfast service could be improved

- very good location in a pleasant green area near the hiking routes - restaurant team actuallly has enough people, so they are not looking stressed. They are friendly, and service is very quick and efficient

Cleaning also on request, I believe it is still cleaned once in a while without asking, but we were staying not so long. Key from gym on request (so most likely machines are not very well cared) - no minibar in the room

Well, understandable but a bit inconvenient, especially given that the sauna opens at almost same time as restaurant and bar. And that everyone from whole hotel comes there at that same time

Even a simple bottle of water and cola would be sometimes so nice to have (they have room service though, however did not try) - Bar opens at 20. 00 and is closed at all on Sundays

It gets super crowded and not enough resting place. - a lot of things are “ on request”. Like bathrobe, sauna towels and so on

We were amazed in the cities of Goslar, Quedlinburg, among others, we walked over the longest suspension bridge in Europe and went with a steam train to the Brocken (highest mountain Harz)

Anja & Han create an atmosphere that is very unique, and the location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of nature.

It was the best mattress we have ever slept on. The entire place is super clean, we got told that the place will be closed in November and that all bathrooms will be renovated, however our bathroom was very okay

Self-service fridge with drinks of all kinds, just note what you consume. The room was clean and nice with good decor and quality beds, a small fan would have been great for warm nights but not really a problem

In the morning, a great breakfast is served at the table, with fresh orange juice, boiled or fried eggs (depending on your preference), everything was very clean and we didn't find it bothersome at all that the house was "a bit old"

Perfect location in the village. Only about 5 minutes to the shops and the cable car. The owners are very accommodating. Since it wasn't busy, we were even allowed into our room early in the morning

Not so modern in its appearance - Reminds me of my grandparents home. But it was clean, silent, and the bed was good - The same was the breakfast. The host is friendly, but can only talk and understand german

I booked the hotel seeing the 4 stars - and it was justified in all ways!! I think it is managed by a couple, sweet people and always there to help. The rooms were clean and well maintained and with balcony

Especially the owner who speaks really good English and always was worried about our experience at his hotel and trying to help at any situation! Breakfast is quite diverse with different types of cheese, ham and even salmon! The only thing I would ask to improve - we were staying in the apartment on the opposite side of the hotel and there was no WiFi, considering that mobile connection as well is...

We stayed there for the weekend with our toddler. It's a fantastic hotel with a very good breakfast and a fair price. There's something for everyone at breakfast; even toddlers will find everything they could wish for
