Very good stay can reccomend I had a very enjoyable stay at AHORN Harz Hotel Braunlage. The location is ideal for exploring the Harz mountains, and the views from the room were lovely. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though a bit dated in style. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with something for everyone. Staff were helpful and friendly, and there were plenty of amenities like the pool...

In a pinch for a night or two The view of the Wurmberg from the 9th floor was fantastic. With cushions on the chairs, the evenings would have been even more enjoyable. With better ventilation in the bathroom, it might not have smelled so musty. The breakfast service could be improved. The buffet offered no healthy options, only the bread was tasty; it took forever to reset the tables, and wiping meant...

Large hotel in a beautiful setting! Surrounded by forests and mountains! A ski resort in winter. The rooms are spacious and clean! The staff is friendly and helpful! The breakfast is extensive and well-prepared! There's plenty to do in and around the hotel! There's a sauna, swimming pool, and fitness room! There are plenty of activities for children! The breakfast and evening buffet didn't quite live up to expectations for a 4-star hotel. The evening meal, in particular, was rather disappointing in terms of taste, so booking the evening buffet isn't necessarily recommended.

A very nice Hotel ..like the USA in the 70's .very clean the Food was good...the Pool was great .. Ill be back ...the staff was always very friendly..the Rooms are large..the Hotel location is great.. there is an Indoor Playground for Kind ..and a Movie

Incredible hospitality! The stuff is very nice and helpful. Especially the owner who speaks really good English and always was worried about our experience at his hotel and trying to help at any situation! Outstanding service, food and location. We went 4 persons for riding mountain bike and that worked out just perfect, with a big help from all the persons working at the hotel and we really felt like home :-) Room for the bikes, big apartment with great views and very clean. Perfect location in the village. Only about 5 minutes to the shops and the cable car. The owners are very accommodating. Since it wasn't busy, we were even allowed into our room early in the morning. Breakfast was brought directly to the table and was very ample. There is parking right by the building and a garage where ski equipment can be stored.

We love coming to the family run hotel. It's almost like coming home, not the usual breakfast buffet, the boss brings everything to the table and what you want. Room super clean, not ultra-modern, but no renovation backlog. New large TV's installed this year. Good quiet central location. Come again!
