4.5 stars would be fair. We had a wonderful weekend, with the pools, sauna, and sunbathing area—everything was perfect. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was fine and clean, but could use a little updating. Also, given the weather, we missed a minibar fridge for refreshments. Overall, it was a great stay, and we'd love to return.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good. The pool was clean and spacious. We would love to return for our next Harz motorcycle tour 👍👍

It was absolutely beautiful, clean, and the entire staff was without exception friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect, and you can feel very comfortable. In my opinion, it's a hidden gem for families with and without children. Great team, great hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed at a really great hotel for a long weekend. We had a very well-equipped double room and half-board. The room was spacious, with plenty of storage space and, most importantly, clean. The food, whether breakfast or dinner, was excellent. Everyone, really everyone at the hotel, was friendly and polite. My girlfriend has booked again on the spot. I can only recommend this hotel.

Great hotel.
The single room I had was adequate but relatively small.
The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk away from the town.
The staff were excellent and made sure everything within their power was right.

obit the parking was a bit small. comparing for such a nice hotel, other than that it was pretty nice. nice staff, rooms location.. I recommend it

Some staff at the reception and restaurant were not so friendly.
Bed was crazy small and uncomfortable.
Swimming pool was not clean.
I had very bad experience there and definitely won't recommend it to anyone.

For the price most optimal experience! Everything one wants to wish without much extra services.
- very good location in a pleasant green area near the hiking routes
- restaurant team actuallly has enough people, so they are not looking stressed. They are friendly, and service is very quick and efficient. Food is very delicious and actually has flavor ( which is not always the case for German hotels )
- spacious room with nice balcony
- good sauna area, a bit small for the hotel capacity though, especially given opening hours
Minor points which I noted as to be improved, however again for the price it is exactly on point
- biggest pain: opening hours of the spa. Sauna works only from 17.00 till 22. No way to get there earlier, it says “on request” , but our request was refused “because of the economical situation”. Well, understandable but a bit inconvenient, especially given that the sauna opens at almost same time as restaurant and bar. And that everyone from whole hotel comes there at that same time. It gets super crowded and not enough resting place. Not saying corona and so on.
- a lot of things are “ on request” . Like bathrobe, sauna towels and so on. Cleaning also on request, I believe it is still cleaned once in a while without asking, but we were staying not so long. Key from gym on request (so most likely machines are not very well cared)
- no minibar in the room. Even a simple bottle of water and cola would be sometimes so nice to have (they have room service though, however did not try)
- Bar opens at 20.00 and is closed at all on Sundays. Ah but it anyway requires some planning: to parallelize spa visit, dinner and bar cause everything is open at the same time
Despite points mentioned, overall vacation experience here is very good and relaxing, and, given that hotels costs are more than adequate for the services provided, I believe, some economy here and there is totally understandable. I would return on occasion

Nice location. Building slightly aged but still OK. I was unable to book treatments as no one was answering the phone for a few days. There is no minibar in rooms - we found a card saying that instead of minibar, we are invited to 24/7 bar. Apparently, the bar was closed and in second one (restaurant) when i asked for something, employee started *screaming* that he wants to close now and if i want something, i need to go to the city. Beside that, weekend stay was refreshing and positive.

very good hotel! the hotel employees are very friendly. the hotel rooms are clean and large. the pool is also very nice and a lot of attention is given to hygiene!
