The hotel itself dates back to 1904 and is historically special. It sits directly next to an enormous park originally gifted to the city in 1317—beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly easy to navigate. The park also connects seamlessly to Hannover’s city center, making the location exceptional.
The lounge is a real standout, offering an actual dinner service—perfect if the weather makes venturing out less appealing, as it did during my cold and dark January stay.
For me, the biggest perk is the fitness and wellness area. This is not a “closet-sized” hotel gym—it’s a full-scale fitness park. There’s an impressive amount of strength equipment, plenty of cardio machines, proper locker rooms, and two saunas. As someone who loves sauna culture, this alone made the stay memorable.
Most importantly, the staff are outstanding. Front desk, lounge, breakfast—everyone was genuinely kind and welcoming. A special mention to Michael in the lounge. Even with my limited German, I felt completely at home.

The location is slightly outside the city center, but only a short 3-minute walk to the tram stop, making it easy to get downtown. There’s also a lovely forest nearby, perfect for a run or a peaceful walk.
Overall, a great stay with thoughtful amenities and good connections to the city.
It is a bit far from city centre, but the tram station is very close about 4-5 minutes walk.
They do have a payed parking €19/ day.
