Zero stars – an absolute disaster for families! If I could, I would give it 0 stars or less. We experienced things in the hotel that are simply unbelievable: The bathroom ventilation had obviously not been cleaned in over a year. The result: a cough, a rash, and shortness of breath for us – no empathy or suggestions for solutions from the hotel. Much worse: Our 3-year-old son was locked and forgotten while using the toilet in the kids' club! He had to free himself and was then completely alone in the outdoor area – with open water and the highway adjacent. No one from the staff noticed he was missing. We as parents were not informed about this – we only learned about it through our child's stories. The hotel manager downplayed the incident and showed no seriousness or sense of responsibility. The hotel advertises its pedagogically trained staff – the reality is grossly negligent and extremely dangerous. For us, this is the worst experience that can happen to a parent. 👉 For families who value hygiene, safety, and responsible childcare: Stay away from this hotel!

Even in difficult times there is always a smile. Our stay here was very pleasant, the staff is always friendly and polite. I can recommend without any problems. The rooms are comfortably furnished and the kitchenette contains everything necessary for hotel guests. 👍

I called to make a reservation and my German is not good. The woman that answered the phone understood everything o said in English but refused to answer in English and only said over and over again Deutsch Deutsch, deutsch. I was going to book a 5 day stay at this hotel but because of this rude secretary’s attitude I will not bring me and my children here ever. This hotel should hire better people who know what customer service is!

great place if you love mosquitos

pros:
-great for kids during nice weather, tons of outdoor playground all very high quality
- food suitable for kids
- one indoor playground which is ok but you need to walk at the outside to reach there so you can't conveniently go from your room to playground during cold weather.

cons:
- room comfort is really bad. No mosquito net on windows and all the walls are covered with killed mosquitos. I spotted at least 10 different mosquitoes in our room, and we couldn't open the window because of it. I can't even imagine summer because there is no A/C in the room so you need to open windows
- very bad pillows. They disappear as soon as you put your head on them

A great buffet catering to diverse tastes and dietary desires (e.g. vegan, gluten, dairy).
Amazing opportunities for children inside and outside. Ours were busy from breakfast until bedtime. Sabrina and the staff were amazing with the children.
A nice wellness area with multiple saunas and rooms to relax.
A modern (if not compact) exercise room where the cardio equipment connects to your smart watch.

It is always a pleasure to go on holiday to this hotel, where everyone (adults and children) can feel good.
From the reception to the cooks and waiters, up to the entertainers, all the workers are professional and friendly.
Bedrooms, restaurant, terrace, spaces for children and teenagers, every place is cared for and well prepared.
The playground garden is simply fantastic!
Super recommended, worth the money it asks for.

I and my family had a wonderful Autumm holiday (2021) at Familien Wellness Hotel Seeklause. It is indeed a family Hotel where both Parents and Kids will feel at home. Friendly Staffs, fantastic and tasty Food, clean Environment, wonderful Playground for Kids.
It has everything for a 4 Stars Hotel.

We will be visiting soon.

Staff was great. Resort is perfect for families with smaller kids, tons of activities. Reason for 4 stars only is that their internet went down sometime before we arrived and they weren't able to get it back on for our whole stay.
