We stayed for three nights, found getting our room key card and access easy. Our room was clean, tidy and cosy. Breakfast gave a nice selection Parking is a bit of a problem, we parked at Blücherplatz just a 5 /10 minute walk away €5 a night, it looks a bit dodgy but in fact safe enough and the ticket machine has a English button but note it doesn't accept card only cash ( or down load a app) The hotel isn't located in the centre but about 20 minute walk to the old town I would recommend this hotel but point out the parking & district issues We would certainly stay again.

Stayed here for one night, which was ok. Good points: - The bed was comfortable - Hotel staff friendly and helpful - Very close the Carolus Thermen Spa Bad points: - The room was not part of the hotel and was across the road in another building. This resembled a building with flats. This meant you had to go across the road for the breakfast. Inside the building was cold with no heating. - Tiles on the floor in the room were cold, especially since there was no underfloor heating or any heat from other rooms. - Room could have been bigger - Breakfast had limited choice - Small bathroom

Over the past fifteen years this family run hotel has been consistently good and has never once let me down. The rooms are always pristine. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are helpful. The location is good for the town centre and it is only 2 minutes from the Carolus thermal spa. It is a relaxing place to stay.

Incredibly friendly and professional gentleman thoroughly explained to be how the accommodation works. A thorough explanation was necessary due to the additional corona measures and I would be entering and exiting the building outside of office hours. The room was delightful! Very clean, nice firm beds and looked great. I slept like a rock!
Due to corona they could not offer their usual breakfast however supplemented it in a very smart way. They had a collaboration with the bakery within 100 meters of the hotel. Also the quality of the bakery was excellent, I wish we had such bakeries in the Netherlands.

If I happen to visit Aachen again, I will definitely see if Hotel Granus is a convenient option.

Just a little fantastic place. Our room was not ready, so they put us in an apartment they have across the road for no extra cost. Breakfast you have so many choices.

Clean rooms, sufficient bath supplies, a lot of glasses in the room, good breakfast.
WiFi rather unstable.

Nice cosy hotel close to the city center (10min walk) and Carolus Therme (7min walk). Super friendly staff. Rooms are very nice even if some might find them small. Also a ghost cleaned our room during breakfast. Totally recommend. Make sure to book parking.
