Spent five nights here during Medica. An excellent hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our bedroom with adjoining sitting area was spacious and very comfortable, as was the bathroom. Good quality amenities. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was varied and generous. Gluten free bread was provided upon request. Parking available. View from the room to the Rhein River was lovely. Nice balcony with the room. Location is not central to Duisburg and therefore quiet. Can walk along the path by the river. Surrounding area is mainly residential and some businesses. Nearest supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. Uber service easily accessible. Trip into Dusseldorf about 40 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Prices reasonable. An enjoyable stay.

it is located along the rhine river and is distance away from the city area. good is that you enjoy the quietness of the stay. all is good except the transport of bus service is limited and walking distance to the hotel is quite a distance.

Good business hotel, comfy bed!
They view from roomis very nice over the river. Corner balcony to two sidrs (room 101). The door to room and the balcony door both need some fixing. There was only one chair on the balcony, though a double room. Otherwise, spacious room, nice work desk, very comfortable bed. Nice modern bathroom. Good parking, free outside hotel door. Internet ok. Good breakfast, with nice view from terrasse. Restaurant closed in the evening, bar open. Walking distance 3 min to small restaurant/bar by the water. Good for business trip and one night stay.

The Hotel Rheingarten was recommended to us by some German friends, and we were very happy with our stay their. Our room was small, but immaculate and comfortable, with a small balcony overlooking the Rhine. Breakfast was lavish. Omer [I am not sure whether he was the manager or concierge] was highly professional, efficient and helpful. Parking is available and free [a bonus in the Duisburg area] and wifi was free and strong. The price was very reasonable. The one drawback is that there are few restaurants in the area.

Clean room, cotton sheets and brilliant views of the Rhine. Perfect stopover when heading to Calais, which is 4-5 hours distant. Top tip go to Bäckerei Bolt in Homburg town square for breakfast; breakfast for 2 is €13. Biergarten Hafensturm just up the road is great on a summer evening.

Clean and desinfected. Nice breakfasts. Short time for supper. Kitchen closed too fast. Lack of air conditioning.

I got a room with 2 balcony. Good panorama of Duisburg and the River. From the bad I see the Rhine River.
