Good hotel to stay in. Missing some basic amenities but could be asked at service desk. Next to Oberhausen Centro shopping centre and busses to central is just walking distance.

More like a 3 star hotel rather than 4. Basic necessities like a 3 star would have. Parking could’ve been inclusive just for hotel guests since it’s a 4 star as well. Location is great since it’s right next to the biggest mall in Europe!

The rooms are clean but quite simple, making it feel more like a budget hotel rather than the four-star accommodation it claims to be.

Nice hotel in Oberhausen, close to the city center with a large mall, night life, and lots of restaurants and bars. Hotel is nice, friendly staff. On site parking is availale for an additional € 15.- per night per car; breakfast buffet is optional for € 20,- The room was clean with a nice spacious shower. The airconditioning did not work.

The breakfast was good .location is perfect, just 2 mins walk to Centro mall and the winter market. Rooms are perfect and staff is very friendly .I think this is the first hotel where I saw the environment's sustainable goals implemented. Definitely visiting again

a very hard bed, low pillow. no coffee machine in the room. and the parking lot was very poorly organized, it took me almost an hour to get in and I had to go and park somewhere else.

Intercity hotel is close to the train station which is very convenient when you have to take the train. Room is clean. But water pressure of the hand shower was very low. It might be to safe water but not pleasure for a quick shower.

Right in front of the Central Station of Duisburg. I arrived late but no problem. Very nice rooms and a great bed (had seldom such a good bed in a hotel). Nice lobby and lobby bar, great breakfast buffet. Price/quality is very good and last but not least, the hotel is also on walking distance from the city center.

I stayed at IntercityHotel Duisburg during the K Plastic Fair. The location is convenient as it’s right next to the train station, and there are nice restaurants nearby. However, the rooms are a bit small, the beds not very comfortable, and there were no towels when I first arrived — though the staff brought them quickly after I asked.

rooms are not soundproof, the fitness centre "downstairs" has music playing loudly and clearly the sound of equipment banging until after 11pm and starts again early morning, resorted to putting noise cancelling headphones on to get to sleep. get up early for breakfast as you run the risk of no milk for the coffee machine and no one to be found to help

Rooms are a bit dated but that’s okay because they are clean and the breakfast is nice. It is in a strange location, in an old shopping mall, but traveling alone I felt safe. The hotel staff is really nice and hospitable. I would stay here again.

This hotel is connected to a shopping mall and directly adjacent to the main train station. The night time environment around the city center is not the best but is ok. It is convienent with the shopping mall and connected underground parking. The room itself was comfortable and clean, the bathrooms could use some updating but all in all a convenient place to stay while on a business trip.

It is very difficult to find the hotel, because of its physical location. Extra effort must be made so the guests understand the parking and access to hotel. Different buildings each on different floors. Otherwise its got access to lots of shopping that was well received

Mercure Duisburg is quite a good hotel. Especially for the price we paid for 4 people. The sleeper couch was comfortable for the kids and the bed for us was nice. Breakfast was very good and luckily served until 10:30 a.m. because it was school holidays. The room was nice, too, although a bit small, but we had booked the cheapest category. However, we chose this hotel because of the pool and sauna. The pool was broken and unusable. The sauna is actually available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., but you have to call ahead or wait half an hour to use it in the morning...

Nice room with practical furniture, comfortable bed, sufficient lighting and a nice bathroom. Nice extras such as coffee, water and refrigerator in the room. Also no shortage of power outlets. Entrance hall room is an extra asset.

A nice little motto hotel. Although a little simple and the little complicated system with the breakfast in another Hotel, I really would visit again. It is located near the City, it was clean and although the breakfast sortiment wasn't the biggest one I had in a hotel in the last years, this was one of the better ones in taste.

Perfect Hotel, Vera clean and friendly

One of the best hotels I have stayed. The rooms and lobby was very clean. I have to tell the service was fantastic, because we booked 2 twin rooms for family of 4. And the hitel staff gave us a conjoined room with door in between. Which was so comfortable and my kids loved it.

I booked this hotel as part of a business trip and a group tour. The hotel elevator was quite small. What I liked most was the excellent cleanliness. The breakfast was very simple, but the German bread was still delicious. Don't expect too much, haha.

Great hotel. The breakfast was super. Despite the fact that we are usually not big meat ball fans we absolutely loved them there. Also worth mentioning is the great selection of cheeses. Elevator renovation ongoing, which required us to use a different elevator - not a big problem. Rooms were excellent with coffee makers etc, but the beds were narrow and very hard - like sleeping on a piece of plywood. The standard room we were in was quite dirty. Hair in the bathroom drain. Breakfast buffet was amazing though. Came here in 2018 and stayed in a junior suite that time and the room was super clean. So I was a bit disappointed.

A beautiful, modern & clean hotel. We had a upgrade from the hotel for the night which was a good surprise, there was free ice-cream for our boys whenever they wanted and the service was perfect, the staff was vriendly and helpful. Small cozy, neat and tidy room. Services are limited but what ever is available is good. If you want to be near the industrial area this is a good location within 15-20mts of walk you get train to anywhere. Food is delicious. Nearby pizza is also great

SatNav had a difficult time finding the hotel! The room was large/quiet/& clean. Parking was easy and safe. We had booked dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was very good. Service and staff very friendly. Breakfast was also served in their restaurant and was good and varied. Overall we thought that this was the best hotel that we had stayed at on our trip.

The beds were comfortable and the apartment was nice (i was given the garden apartment in floor 4). Stayed here for a night, just to enjoy the christmas markets. My lord were we surprised. Originally we booked this for the lower pricing, but never would we have expected the size and luxury of the rooms. The location is good, but there's a problem with the heating. The hotel and rooms are generally cold and don't get warm. The air conditioners blow cold air even during the season.

Yes, the staff are friendly too. The best choice for one night stay, close to the train station. Turn right when you exit the station. You don't have to wait until 3pm, you can check in if there is a room available before 3pm.

The hotel is very close to Duisburg Train Station. It is very convenient to get to the hotel right outside the train station. There are also supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so you don’t have to walk far to buy things and eat.

I had a good stay at the hotel. So I had to decide how many stars to give and for me it's a 3.5!!! Positive: - Parking area on the opposite site of the hotel - there was a gym, and as an early bird, I could use it early in the morning - the breakfast tasted really good, and the small variety was top. Everybody can find something. It even had some sausages and scrambled eggs. That was a positive surprise...

We had the family room for a night (€110). Not a new room but pretty clean. The only improvement we could think of would be a kettle in the room (and coffee/tea set) and fluffier pillows. For a family of 5 (10, 8 and 4 yo kids) the stay was a pleasant one after a day spent at Movie Park.
