Good hotel to stay in. Missing some basic amenities but could be asked at service desk. Next to Oberhausen Centro shopping centre and busses to central is just walking distance.

More like a 3 star hotel rather than 4. Basic necessities like a 3 star would have. Parking could’ve been inclusive just for hotel guests since it’s a 4 star as well. Location is great since it’s right next to the biggest mall in Europe!

The rooms are clean but quite simple, making it feel more like a budget hotel rather than the four-star accommodation it claims to be.

Nice hotel in Oberhausen, close to the city center with a large mall, night life, and lots of restaurants and bars. Hotel is nice, friendly staff. On site parking is availale for an additional € 15.- per night per car; breakfast buffet is optional for € 20,- The room was clean with a nice spacious shower. The airconditioning did not work.

The breakfast was good .location is perfect, just 2 mins walk to Centro mall and the winter market. Rooms are perfect and staff is very friendly .I think this is the first hotel where I saw the environment's sustainable goals implemented. Definitely visiting again

a very hard bed, low pillow. no coffee machine in the room. and the parking lot was very poorly organized, it took me almost an hour to get in and I had to go and park somewhere else.

Intercity hotel is close to the train station which is very convenient when you have to take the train. Room is clean. But water pressure of the hand shower was very low. It might be to safe water but not pleasure for a quick shower.

Right next to the train station, the hotel has good soundproofing and the bed in the room with an elevator is very soft. There is a McDonald's and a large parking lot around

Overall, everything was great. Unfortunately, there was no safe in the room. Breakfast was okay, but the scrambled eggs weren't freshly cooked; I suspect they were from a packet.

Typical hotel for short-term stays, tradespeople, etc. Simple room furnishings, decent self-service breakfast with the option of "breakfast to go". Friendly staff.

Perfect Hotel, Vera clean and friendly

One of the best hotels I have stayed. The rooms and lobby was very clean. I have to tell the service was fantastic, because we booked 2 twin rooms for family of 4. And the hitel staff gave us a conjoined room with door in between. Which was so comfortable and my kids loved it.

I booked this hotel as part of a business trip and a group tour. The hotel elevator was quite small. What I liked most was the excellent cleanliness. The breakfast was very simple, but the German bread was still delicious. Don't expect too much, haha.

It's a hotel that's just right for sleeping and leaving. There's nothing around except for a supermarket.

Elevator renovation ongoing, which required us to use a different elevator - not a big problem. Rooms were excellent with coffee makers etc, but the beds were narrow and very hard - like sleeping on a piece of plywood. The hotel had convenient parking available behing a gate which they could open from the front desk the first time you drive in.

The room was not as good as the previous visit. The toilet/shower ventilation system makes a loud, disturbing noise.

An enjoyable stay, All of the reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Laura on reception was particularly helpful going over and above her duties -helping to contact a local Taxi Co (who only had an answer phone message - in German). Mercure Duisburg is quite a good hotel. Especially for the price we paid for 4 people. The sleeper couch was comfortable for the kids and the bed for us was nice. Breakfast was very good and luckily served until 10:30 a.m. because it was school holidays. The room was nice, too, although a bit small, but we had booked the cheapest category. The sauna is actually available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., but you have to call ahead or wait half an hour to use it in the morning...

Nice room with practical furniture, comfortable bed, sufficient lighting and a nice bathroom. Nice extras such as coffee, water and refrigerator in the room. Also no shortage of power outlets. Entrance hall room is an extra asset.

rooms are not soundproof, the fitness centre "downstairs" has music playing loudly and clearly the sound of equipment banging until after 11pm and starts again early morning, resorted to putting noise cancelling headphones on to get to sleep. get up early for breakfast as you run the risk of no milk for the coffee machine and no one to be found to help

This hotel is connected to a shopping mall and directly adjacent to the main train station. The night time environment around the city center is not the best but is ok. It is convienent with the shopping mall and connected underground parking. The room itself was comfortable and clean, the bathrooms could use some updating but all in all a convenient place to stay while on a business trip.

It is very difficult to find the hotel, because of its physical location. Extra effort must be made so the guests understand the parking and access to hotel. Different buildings each on different floors. Otherwise its got access to lots of shopping that was well received

It is close to the train station, and behind it is a commercial area like a pedestrian street. The streets are spacious, and underground are EDEKA, ALDI and other shopping malls. Very convenient hotel, thumbs up!

The standard room we were in was quite dirty. Hair in the bathroom drain. Breakfast buffet was amazing though. Came here in 2018 and stayed in a junior suite that time and the room was super clean. So I was a bit disappointed.

A beautiful, modern & clean hotel. We had a upgrade from the hotel for the night which was a good surprise, there was free ice-cream for our boys whenever they wanted and the service was perfect, the staff was vriendly and helpful. SatNav had a difficult time finding the hotel! The room was large/quiet/& clean. Parking was easy and safe. We had booked dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was very good. I cannot fault this hotel. Everything was superb. We arrived from the overnight ferry to Hook of Holland. This place was perfectly positioned a couple of hours from the port for an overnight stay before exploring Germany. The car park was spotless. Great hotel. The breakfast was super. Despite the fact that we are usually not big meat ball fans we absolutely loved them there. Also worth mentioning is the great selection of cheeses. A nice little motto hotel. Although a little simple and the little complicated system with the breakfast in another Hotel, I really would visit again. It is located near the City, it was clean and although the breakfast sortiment wasn't the biggest one I had in a hotel in the last years, this was one of the better ones in taste.
