I stayed at this hotel during a business trip. The hotel can be reached very quickly once you exit Duisburg from the highway coming from Düsseldorf. The hotel is in a very quiet area, but within a few minutes' walk you can reach both the center, the shops, and the train station. The rooms (at least my n° 417) were very spacious, modern and really functional even for working. Excellent cleaning. A good choice also for breakfast, both sweet and savory, the only recommendation is the possibility of opening earlier at 6.30 AM. There is also a swimming pool, but due to work commitments I was unable to use it. It was a good choice.

I’d like to thank Mr. Melvin Demelius at the Plaza Hotel for his outstanding service. He helped me with a tricky mail issue that could have been lost between destinations. Mr. Demelius was very kind and went out of his way to solve the problem quickly.

I stay at a lot of hotels for work, this is definitely one of the good ones
I have absolutely no complaints about anything and would definitely choose to stay here again, when in the area.

Well operated and renovated Hotel close to the City Center of Duisburg. Breakfast buffet ok - rooms renovated and the staff works with a focus on the guests. Keep on going - a silver line on the horizon

A clean, modern hotel opposite the Lehmbruckmuseum (modern art, predominantly statues). It comes with an underground parking albeit with limited number of parking spaces. I requested a room with bathtub for my artrose pain and this was no problem. Works were ongoing to modernize but this didn’t cause any hindrance or noise. After my dinner in the city the lady behind the reception was so friendly to serve my wine and chat a while. Overall very good experience and the bill was very reasonable. Recommended.

The place is worth the value. On my business trip it was an excellent place to stay in a very industrial area. The room I had was spacious, bed was comfortable. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that there was not a complimentary water in the room (€2.5 per small bottle) and the breakfast area. The breakfast choice is rather small.

The facilities may be good but my visit was tarnished by the staff at reception. Turned up without a reservation after an 11hour motorcycle ride in the rain. Needless to say I was tired and wet. The staff seemed offended that I would arrive dressed in motorcycle clothes. They had a room available but seemed to debate amongst themselves whether they'd give it to me. After checking in I asked where the car park was and they said there were no motorcycle bays. I said I'd pay for a car bay so my bike would be secure but again they said I couldn't use it. I was told to park it out on the street at my own risk. Overall, the hotel seemed well equipped but the attitude of those on reception left a lot to be desired

Stayed there for only 12 hours because my flight got cancelled. It was a nice hotel near a plaza with lots of restaurants and other shops. The room was clean and well furnished.

Nice hotel in very good position if you need the train. Good breakfast and rooms. Parking on the ground floor. Medium prices. Near the center.

Great staff, good breakfast, just missing a coffee station and iron in the room. They will bring you coffee, but I like being able to make my own! 5min walk to nearest train station, and shopping mall
