Nevertheless, upon my arrival after 6 hours of traveling, the front desk manager told me that the hotel was overbooked and that they have given my room away since I arrived in the evening. Therefore they could not consider my confirmed booking. I was never contacted by the hotel to give any information or ask for arrival time.
I am extremely disappointed that a four star hotel is apparently renting more rooms that they can offer and not informing the guests of any updates or changes to confirmed bookings. This is for me very unserious and untransparent. This is not the proper way to treat customers.
I would not recommend to book this hotel since you cannot trust even confirmed bookings!
At the end the only solution that this hotel could offer me was to go by taxi to a different hotel.
Breakfast top quality, but I did not appreciate the waitress taking the plates away from the table seconds after they were empty.
Room 202 where I slept was very hot, no AC but it was equipped with a fan so it was ok. Only problem the room looks directly on a busy street where there is people passing with car and loud music during the night.
I am sorry but I wouldn’t come back
