Hotel Omega in Moers

The greek restaurant is just great! It is hard to eat vegetarian and without cow milk products I'm an average greek restaurant, but here it was no problem at alle. We shared six starters plus a salad and had so much great food that we could eat the whole evening! A n icecold ouzo for a starter, very nice and fresh creams on toast and six veggy starters. I enjoyed each of them, but particularly the studded aubergine and the greek salad. All squeaking fresh and very tasty. Prices ar efair and when you eat so much as we did the total is on the higher end, but if you are hungry like a normal person you can have a good meal with two starters already and then the overall price is just fine. It is only hard to chose because there are so many nice starters!
Service was very friendly and helpful, too.
Now, the main issue here is the location as the hotel-restaurant is at the cross road of two very busy roads with loads of heavy traffic. This means that you either sleep on a racing circuit or you die from heat in summer. We opted for half a night of racing circuit and half a night of sweating, but it's just not how you wish it would be. This place would deserve a much better location, in my opinion. But, and interim, best is to go there when you van leave all windows closed and then it is doable, as they did invest in more or less soundproof windows. Rooms themselves are large and well equipped, absolutely worth the price.

Everything felt new and well cared for. The hallways were bright, the room smelled clean, and the furniture looked modern and sturdy.

The mattress felt new, and the pillows were just the right firmness for me. I also liked that the shower had a constant water temperature — a small but important thing. Overall, everything was as described, or maybe slightly better.

The staff here are so very sweet and kind.
I stayed overnight on my EV15 cycle and I slept quite soundly.
The room was very clean. The Greek restaurant was also amazing.
The also have an e-bike charging station for internal batteries.!
Any cyclists needing a place to stop and recharge, this is it.

Great Hotel for Intermediate Stops in West Germany or maybe just a city break.
Staff are friendly and helpful, single rooms available at a reasonable price.
Sadly, the late check-in time was a little early for me, I was driving from the UK & Calais.
I only just managed the 10pm deadline. I chose not to have breakfast and I arrived too late, 10pm, to try the restaurant.
Their food looks lovely.
There was a kettle for the all-important sachet of coffee, tea bags also provided with little sachets of milk and sugar.
Single bed was great for a good sleep.
The bathroom looked brand new.

Great hotel, very very good Price for the quality. Very good restaurant too. Also extremly dedicated staff. Highly recommanded !
