Clean and nice room, excellent service from the staff

A nice boutique hotel that has a modern edgy personality. It is away from the main buzz of Konigsalle and there are shops (eg. dm, cosmetic shops) and eateries nearby. It's 3min walk from the U-Bahn station or 5min walk to bus stop. Room size is cosy and adequate for single occupancy. Staff is friendly and facilities are relatively new.

Great base to explore the town centre and Altstadt on foot.
The room was great for 1 person, might be a little cramped for a couple for more than 1 night. Coffee or a kettle in the room would be a good edition. I was a little disappointed in the bread/pastry selection at breakfast.
Room was good value for money and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Just one thing that is not great - the bathroom light stay on and only goes off after a while - it’s disturbing if someone is asleep.

It is an upsetting and heartbreaking thing to have a holiday cancelled by the government no longer allowing travel into the country due to the new Omicron variant. I was looking forward to seeing my friend who moved to Germany almost 2 years ago. To go with that heartbreak this hotel have made it worse by refusing to move the dates of my booking, by refusing a refund to which I am entitled in these unexpected circumstances and not only that their response has been condescending and rude. It is such a shame they have behaved in such an inhospitable way - as if my day wasn’t bad enough!
