We had a fantastic stay at Sauerländet Hof during a long weekend incl. the spa-package with honey massage and lava shell massage for the ladies. The premises, level of personal service, quality of restaurant and breakfast, and location were exclusive.
Thank you, Kerstin, Christoph and Familie Stöber, for having us and making it a very special, warm and cozy stay for us! It felt a bit like home 😊

Best service experience I've had in my life and I've been to michelin star restaurants. The food and hotel are also very nice. Also good price to quality ratio. I can't think of a single negative thing.

Excellent hotel! Good walks in the neighborhood, clean and enjoyable sauna and steam bath. Super friendly staff

I am staying at Sauerländer Hof on a regular basis. The rooms are great, there is plenty of parking and it is a good start for a bike trip or a walk.
The hosts are extremely friendly and always trying to make your stay perfect.
When I am in the area, I always try to stay there.
Also try the restaurant, very tasty.

5* service of the personnel and owners. Very accommodating and friendly restaurant. Our room was lovely but not all rooms are renovated. Only downside was the location at a busy road. Insulation of the rooms is good but when you cannot open a window without car noise day and night. Would definitely come here again for the fantastic service and lovely owners.

A wonderful hotel with fantastic hosts who couldn't do enough for us. The food was amazing and mostly homemade. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It was a shame we were only staying for 3 nights.

Nice and very clean hotel. Great dinner and a big selection at breakfast to choose from.
Good start base to hiking spots and nature.
Only negative point is not all staff members speak english.

Last week here for 4 days has been a guest where we are with the moto all the time here left. Very friendly and warm people that you are on a very familial way to welcome and to assist you and patiently listen when my German accent is, again, unintelligible sounds. Very spacious, good room with balcony, good bed (a shame that there is no tweepersoonsmatrassen), extensive tasty breakfast with rooms specialities and the restaurant is also highly recommended.
Not cheap but worth every penny. Oh, and, the moto if in the large garage!

I only ate at the restaurant and the cuisine and service are of a certain level. To be the restaurant of a hotel is excellent.

The first impression was already good on the phone booking 2 rooms for a long weekend. Everything can if possible. I was pleasantly helped by a very friendly lady. She gave me a good and clear advice about the possibilities of the hotel.
