Where to stay in Horn-Bad Meinberg

We stayed at Waldhotel Bärenstein and had an overall positive experience. From the outside the hotel looks a bit dated – especially on the garden side where a fresh coat of paint would help – but once inside you can clearly see that the owner is working on modernizing. There is Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and the furniture in the rooms looks neat and well-kept. Still, several guests shared our impression: the...

Great hotel in the middle of the forest! Very peaceful place with hikes starting in front of the hotel. The area is beautiful and the hotel is great value for money. Good breakfast with local products too. The room was good and the service too. Perfect place to rest and spend time in nature.

All in all very relaxing location with great facilities at a decent price. Probably one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Staff was very friendly and professional. Great value!

Great hotel in excellent location.

1 month ago we stayed for 5 nights in Waldhotel Bärenstein. I've delayed making a review far too long, but that is because I find it difficult to top all the other positive reviews that this hotel already has. As far as I'm concerned a hotel experience consists of three parts, the location, the building and the personnel. The location is exceptional, the location in the middle of the woods is ideal...

I stayed at the Hotel Bärenstein for four nights in July 2024 as part of a family event. We were 18 people altogether, plus an additional six who attended a function and stayed for one night. My family of four had two double rooms. The rooms were very spacious and well-equipped with a TV, coffee/tea station, fridge, free bottle of water and ample storage space. No A/C, though, but the weather wasn...

We felt very comfortable; the apartment was very clean and exactly matched the pictures and description. Friendly communication. We would gladly recommend it.

We stayed here for four days while visiting our parents in the rehabilitation clinic. We received a very warm welcome and found our apartment (150) absolutely charming. A minor mishap my daughter had was taken care of immediately! We highly recommend the Aparthotel Stibbe, and if we ever need a room in Bad Meinberg again, we would gladly return! Thank you for the lovely stay.

Value for money! Hyggelig, lite hotell. Får topp karakter av meg i alle kategorier.

Very nice hotel with kind personnel. Quiet homeless and very nice rooms. Hotel is located near beautiful park. Great place to take afternoon walks. Delicious breakfast on the morning. Free Wi-Fi connection. Kitchen room open 24h with microwave Owen

Nice place to be Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in ruhig aber dennoch zentral am Kurpark gelegenen Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitenden, entspanntem Sauna Aufenthalt! Extrawünsche werden berücksichtigt. Toller Service.Gern wieder.

Excellent hotel. Owners know how to run such a business.

Nice hotel with friendly people and good food. Had a great stay. The walks nearby through the forest are great.

I fell in love with this magical fairy tale hotel when I stayed over for only one night. I had called ahead to ask for a room with a balcony and a bath tub, and from my very first chat with the owner, Peter, on the phone, my friend and I were made to feel warmly welcomed. Tucked away in an idyllic forest setting, the room was brilliantly clean, comfortable, filled with charming details, framed art...

What a great spot the Silbermühle Wald Hotel is, tucked away in the woods at the foot of the Teutoburger forest. The stunning, working water mill is a key feature, as is the mill pond. We have been visiting this restaurant for over 40 years, and it has never disappointed. You get old fashioned supervised service with a smile. The choice of food is excellent, but you have to choose your menu by...

The location is beautiful. The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant is excellent and very varied. Great wines too! The beds are super comfortable and the positions of the beds can be adjusted which is a huge plus. The room has a nice selection of fruits and chocolate. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be coming back!

Fine cake, though little choice. Very friendly staff and nice location. Prices were quite stiff.

No English but otherwise a great stay

very good friendly helpful hotel, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, very good location to bus terminal and park, restaurants bakery und coffee shops close by, very good price when booking with the hotel, I stayed for 3 days, I would choose this hotel again

The hotel is very comfortable with the room having a separate area with 2 chairs and tv. The owners were very friendly and changed our room for one with 2 beds. The location is great for visiting the Exernsteine but the town itself has nothing to do. The Italian pizzeria restaurant at the end of the street is very good. Parking is very easy with street parking, a lot across the street and a few spots...

disappointment with the place, poor room and bathroom equipment

Very nice. Fairly modern rooms with a bit of Character, just enough room for comfortable living, very clean and tidy. The first floor rooms have a nice shared balcony that you can sit out on. The breakfast was included and had a good selection of fresh food which was very nice.

Beautiful location, cozy room with nice decor. Easy to find the hotel - and only a few minutes quick drive to see Externsteine.

The location is nice right in the corner of central detmold, the pity is my receptionist could not easily talking in english

Excellent location, really close to the city centre. The parking is tiny and requires some skill to get into (really narrow gate). The breakfast served is varied and tasty, the products used are of top quality. The rooms (single) are unfortunately very tiny, and the choice of carpet might pose problems to people with allergies. The sound insulation in the rooms is excellent and the bed was comfortable...

The personnel (especially Caroline and Donatello) are excellent 10/10 recommend.

Situated directly at the entrance to the Fußgängerzone! Very friendly staff, nice rooms, comfortable bed. Breakfast downstairs served with a smile!

Great hotel and loved the breakfast. Unfortunately the TV stopped working somewhere at night and although the rooms are soundproofed against outside noise, one can still hear a lot of sound from the hallways. Recommended to bring earplugs when one wishes to sleep until after 8am

This stay was fantastic and exceeded my expectations! The room was spotless and very comfortable, with a great layout and an amazingly cozy bed—I felt relaxed the moment I walked in. The staff were warm and professional, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and hassle-free. The property is quiet, well-maintained, and feels very welcoming throughout. I’d definitely stay here again and...

Nice place and good hospitality

A great property, room was amazing and the staff are awesome. Great location Will stay here again.

Very nice environment,friendly staff

We were there for breakfast (I was invited), the service was great, always attentive and checking if anything was missing 🥰. I was there two days earlier to get a voucher; the receptionist was super nice and explained everything. The location is also great 🫶. Parking isn't so good.

The ambiance was tasteful, but unfortunately the double room was very cramped and lacked seating. The reception opening hours are too short for business travelers. I found the parking situation very confusing (the GPS didn't recognize the street, there was no street sign, and the parking lot was poorly lit) and time-consuming. Breakfast was good.

I was last In Detmold in 1994, and could not have chosen a better hotel to return, staff amazing, clean, and the best family room we have seen on our travels. Thank you so much

From the moment we stepped through the doors of Wertschätzer Hotel, the experience was seamless and exceptionally welcoming. Located in the vibrant heart of Detmold, the hotel offers an unrivaled base for exploring the city's rich tapestry of dining, shopping, and cultural landmarks, including the impressive local castle. The building itself is steeped in history, and the recent renovations have been...

A nice, cozy hotel in the inner city of Detmold. We enjoyed our stay there.

I loved it—so much that I want to keep it secret and not post a review! I had a top floor room with vaulted ceiling and loft and kitchenette. It was immaculate and very comfortable—andwonderful. In a fantastic location in town. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Really loved my stay in Detmold.

It's a strange sort of hotel. There is no restaurant aside from at breakfast, but that's fine as the town centre is only a few minutes walk with plenty of bars and restaurants. Where there used to at least be a bar there is now a closed off area with an indoor bike rack. The rooms are OK, a good size, clean and comfortable. Some have a small balcony with a table and chairs. It's a pleasant place to...

Very comfortable room, large bathroom, excellent cleaning. There are no toiletries, only soap in the dispensers. There is no safe. Very courteous staff. A little disorganized at breakfast: you had to wait for the tables to be cleaned because there were few tables available as the tables were all for four, usually occupied only by couples. Also on Monday morning finding both hot drink machines out of...

Best place to stay over in that city. Clean, ok sized but modern rooms with AC. Staff, location, service really excellent and breakfast offers alternating items ever morning besides the regular local and intercontinental goods.

Nice large room, good penthouse view, comfy bed, modern shower. Absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Near town centre. Nice rooms and parking available

Really nice place. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, tasty and plentiful breakfast. With fresh waffles! And prosecco. There are small paper bags in every room. If you are caring for the planet, you'll get a small reward. Nice idea! Works better then " leave your towel on the floor" :)

Great experience. Clean and new. English service ok. Nice people there and wanderful breakfast.

great located hotel with one of the only service of renting bicycles in Detmold

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast.

Stayed in Apartment 5. Spacious to say the least. Staff very friendly. Immaculately clean and great buffet breakfast.

For the price is very good, decent breakfast, parking, 10 minutes walk to the center of the city.

Bed collapsed early in the morning, hurt my back in the process. Other than that, all was well.

Very good hotel for me near with everything buses shopping restaurant market and people very friendly the hotel is clean and wormy wonderful hope to come again

Very good hotel friendly staff very comfortable

We really enjoyed our night at the hotel. Incredible service. So much kindness and dedication. I highly recommend - great price and excellent location, in front of the HBF. We are very grateful

Very nice cozy hotel. Nice hosts. Very clean room. Slept very well and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Thanks.

Great hotel, but a bit noisy at the front. Excellent breakfast, very friendly host and wife.

We were there at the beginning of November. Check-in between 5 pm and 9 pm seemed a bit late, but check-out at 11 am was fine. We had booked a double room with a balcony and a single room. The rooms were functional. The single room wasn't very clean; there were cobwebs in the corners and on the bed. It looked like it had been cleaned and then left unoccupied for a while. The double room was okay,...

The receptionist was very friendly. It's a quiet and relaxing place. I felt very comfortable.

Actually quite nice only the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, there is still a lot of room for improvement. When staff was on site, they tried very hard

Rooms are good except for 2-3 things (broken toilet seat, deposits in the shower, dirty curtains). There is almost never anyone at the reception, so I only saw someone on arrival, otherwise not at all, hotel was only accessible from the rear entrance/exit. The outdoor area was unfortunately not as nice as it is presented on the internet. Very noisy. Breakfast is not offered, so no rating possible....

Simple clean tidy and quiet. Doors open after 5pm. unfortunately no breakfast was offered. Price was fair.

You get a lot of bang for your buck in this hotel, nice tidy room, comfortable beds, located in a great area.

My mother (in her 80s) and I spent a 5 day holiday in this beautiful hotel and our experience could not have been better! The grounds are stunning, the staff (without exception) is super-friendly and professional, and the food is tasty. My mother had some health treatments in the medical spa, which she found to be very effective, and I enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, the gym and the SPA. Lastly, I...

The hotel and its grounds are huge and inviting for a stroll. The reception staff were friendly at check-in, but at check-out, they seemed less concerned that the guest was dissatisfied. There is an outdoor pool in the main building, as well as a spa area and sauna. The spa treatments were excellent. The food in the restaurant in the main building was buffet style, with only the appetizers served directly...

An oasis of peace, a well-kept park (currently affected by construction work). A good package deal. Always a pleasure to stay for a break. Unfortunately, the town of Bad Driburg itself isn't attractive. Excursions from there include the Hermann Monument and the Corvey World Heritage Site (open only from April).

Absolutely fantastic hotel, went beyond our expectations. Beautiful architecture and surrounding park, friendly staff, tasty food and a great pool. Will definitely come back!

Fantastic hotel that keeps us returning. Lovely park gardens and serene setting. Exceptional breakfast. Only disappointment is the ongoing roadworks that make finding the location rather difficult and the hotel can do more to message or provide a link on how to access, Google maps gives up!

Went there for a 3 day corporate meeting. The rooms are very nice, meeting rooms as well. The place has an indoor and outdoor pool - very nice and heated. Food is very good as well. Nice old place.

Lovely single room with a fantastic view from the balcony. The food is excellent. The Eyers family and their team are extremely friendly and accommodating. The service is top-notch. The location is very good, and parking is free. Highly recommended! 👌

The food was absolutely excellent, well above the usual restaurant standard, more like fine dining. Very tasty and beautifully presented. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Genius artist/ chef and friendly staff🎉👏🏾 Some of the best food I have eaten in my adult life (and I am getting old , 62 next week! 😂)

Great location for the race track with friendly service I stayed here for a work event as it’s close to the Bilster Berg race track – just a 15-minute drive with easy access by car. My single room was comfortable, with a balcony and sofa. The bathroom was on the small side, but I have to say the shower pressure was incredible – like a jet wash on full power! The shutters on the windows and doors...

nice hotel, good service, good breakfast, good view, great.

Excellent hotel with modern and spacious room! Dinner selection is amazing, beautifully presented an very tasty. Lovely staff and great views! Loved every minute of my weekend stay!

Great hotel, great staff. The breakfast is amazing. Conveniently located near the train station and local clinics. The dinner is also very tasty. I stayed in the new wing of the hotel. The room was modern and had a great, comfortable bed. Thank you, and perhaps see you again soon.

Nice rooms, comfortable beds. The whole building is quite old, and it feels. No internet at all despite advertisement because it's"overloaded".

Can only recommend this hotel. We were happy with everything. The breakfast offers everything you could wish for.

Everything is highly recommended

Clean house, staff, service very friendly

Good and restaurant in the typical style of the region. Good breakfast and beds. Also nice indoor swimming pool and sauna.

Great family hotel, comfortable and good food

Friendly service, nice rooms, good breakfast. The bed mattress is a bit hard, softer would help for a better sleep.

Outstanding breakfast, great staff, convenient location.

Perfect location for a few days.

Even after thinking hard, I can't think of a mistake: half-timbered, kept in good condition, lounges, friendly, helpful and very attentive service (on the 2nd evening we were able to swap tables because I had problems balancing the plate from the breakfast buffet ), cozy lounge, fantastic food, swimming pool. Only the environment is a little scary, because it is a single construction site (but you...

I was only there for a meal. It was fine. The pub was almost exclusively full of friendly locals, and there was no stress whatsoever. A pleasant place to sit, eat, and drink. The food is good, traditional fare. The best thing is the service. They don't skimp on staff, and you won't go thirsty. A tip is definitely in order! Cheers!

Didn't stay overnight but had dinner here. 200m away from Marcus Clinic. The food is very good and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. The offer on the menu is also worth mentioning. Just that you can order something to snack on. All clean Will come more often

It was fantastic, the staff very friendly, the breakfast excellent, plentiful and delicious. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. The rooms are very large and comfortable. We will definitely come back again.

We stayed with you as a group and felt very comfortable. The room lost one star because I don't like carpets. But everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast had everything you could need. The staff was very friendly, and we couldn't fault anything else. Best wishes 🥰

We actually got stuck here due to a breakdown and ended up really enjoying the experience.

Had a lovely long weekend at Waldcafe Jäger. Breakfast was very good. Even though dinner at the Hotel Jägerhof involved a 30 km return journey, the food was very good

A very nice hotel, breakfast rich and tasty. The location of the hotel is quiet by the forest. The employees are very nice. Very nice and always happy

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Mitarbeiterinnen sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert.

Stayed there for one night... the room was very clean and did the job perfectly. Downstairs is a pizzeria.... best pizza I have eaten in a very long time... You have to walk 150m to a sister hotel for breakfast (which seems odd) but is totally OK 👍 I will definitely use this hotel again

Clean, warm room, good bed, good pillow, clean bathroom.

Stayed here before, spotlessly clean and welcoming staff

Short stop to catch up with friends Friendly, welcoming staff, where were very helpful - they got us a kettle for the room when we requested it despite this seeming very out of the ordinary for German hotels! The location was quite convenient for getting into and around Paderborn, with quite quick access to the highways. There is a restaurant as part of the hotel, which had good food, but only took...

Old style hotel, people are good, breakfast super. Sound isolation is not enough! Ive heard both two rooms in neighbourhood

It is little far from the city center, but on the main roadside. However, the hotel would accommodate the early check in with free parking and free breakfast. The breakfast was simple but you could have eggs cooked in a way you like. The only setback was the noise at night from the bar.

The accommodation is okay and appropriate for the price...However, there's no one there you can ask anything. I couldn't get gluten-free bread because they didn't understand me at all, so I couldn't have breakfast there...I wouldn't come back...

great welcome from the manager. we arrived late as it was a last minute booking ie 15 mins prior to arrival and he was very accommodating

Top modern. Quiet. Good price. Lots of parking spaces.

Great hotel, nice staff, I recommend👍

Very nice hotel and nice staff. Recommended to come back. You can sleep well and good beds.

No frills motel. Good clean rooms. Bed was good, but probably best to bring your own pillow though. No air conditioning but the windows can fully open. Reasonable serve yourself breakfast. Electric Vehicle charging seams good if you need it (I didn't use it).

Weekend with my boyfriend in a very nice hotel in Sylbach. Friendly staff, very good service and comfortable, clean rooms. I will also recommend the restaurant. Delicious dishes. Friendly and quiet atmosphere😊😊. A hotel to recommend

There's no fridge in the rooms, but the restaurant is great.

Beautiful place and the food was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel in quiet village near lemgo. Rooms very comfortable and clean and restaurant was excellent. Highly recommended

We went for a meal outside of the normal opening hours and they didn't turn us away but served us inbetween two birthday bashes. That in its self is worth a return visit and a very unusual level of service here in D.

Was on a business trip. Absolutely phenomenal Hotel placement. A big super market at the back and Kebap, Subway and Russian fast food on the ground floor of the same building. Very large and free parking. Even out of service hours check in is still possible with a sort of vending machine. You check in with your booking number and get your room card printed out, multiple cards are also possible to...

The room was very large and very clean. Breakfast was everything you could need, served as a buffet downstairs in the bakery. We felt comfortable. We'd be happy to stay again.

The room is modern and cosy, furnished and the bed is really comfortable to sleep in. There was nothing wrong with the cleanliness. The furnishings are simple, but everything you need is there (including a hairdryer). The hotel is a bit outside the city centre, but there is a free car park and a bus stop to the city right outside the door. The only problem is that the reception is not regularly manned...

Nice experience and very good hotel

Unfortunately, check-in was very difficult. There was a lot of confusion about who was responsible for us. Otherwise, a clean and simple hotel with free parking. Good for short visits.

Hotel with good price-performance ratio.

Stayed at this lovely hotel in Sept 2025. Lovely room with large comfy bed and gorgeous shower 🚿. Has easy parking and great surroundings. Staff so helpful and spoke English to help us. Would highly recommend, thank you all at the hotel for our marvellous stay.

Pleasant stay and great food, as usual in Germany!

Just what we had hoped for. We chose to stay at this hotel while visiting family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is probably the cleanest I have ever seen among similar 4 Star hotels. The food was exceptional and there was plenty of it. On-site parking was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to our next stay.

Our one-night stay was very enjoyable. We received a friendly welcome at reception, with rooms all ready. We had driven directly from London (UK) to Paderborn and the hotel's free, off-road car park was a welcome site, and located just metres from the entrance. No searching for car parking! The hotel's public areas were well decorated, clean and spacious and our rooms were comfortable with all the...

Nice hotel with a good breakfast at a reasonable price, we will be back when next in the area.

Nice hotel. Reception staff quite off standish but helpful.Very nice breakfast. Lovely ,hardworking breakfast staff. Wish there was a kettle in the room,I like to have a coffee or tea when I want one. Could not fault this hotel at all and would come back again.

Great hotel, comfortable and great service. Meal in the Bistro and breakfast was fantastic

We stayed here a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. This time we were unable to book a Parkside room, instead a Comfort room. The room was in desperate need of renovation. The surfaces were marked, the paint on the doorways was chipped. The decor was stuck in the 90s. The lighting was peculiar. The light for the bathroom automatically turned on the light in the entrance. Thus waking up the other person...

yes helpfull people still exist! ! late in evening problem with my ev car, battery was already minus and they let me charge even when i was not a guest of the hotel !! thanks for your help !!! 👍🏻 iit was getting late so i book a room, nice rooms with nice breakfast!! team victoria thanks 😊

outstanding hotel and value for money lovely contemporary style room and well decorated hotel

A quite nice hotel. Good location. Good breakfast. Reasonable price.

This is a lovely friendly hotel. Brilliant location for the train station and just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. Room was lovely, comfortable bed and very clean. Breakfast was in a lovely room overlooking the garden. Food very fresh and plentiful. Will definitely be back - thank you

I really liked everything – it's a cozy, clean, quiet hotel with wonderful, friendly hosts! I was there unplanned (my car broke down), so I got a discounted room extension, and breakfast is included! The room was very clean, spacious, with crisp bedding, warm, and cozy. It also had a large balcony. No one bothered me for four days, and the towels and bedding were changed while I was gone. I loved everything...

Delicious beer, again and again 😀

Fair price / performance ratio, a bit old but clean, does its job. If you like hits, you've come to the right place.

We have been to the hotel several times! The location is ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the center of Paderborn! Clean rooms and an excellent breakfast! Great price-performance ratio! We will book it again and again!

Class! Height of over 2m was no problem at all! Central, clean & the staff is very friendly! Breakfast is rich and tasty. Book gladly again.

stayed for one night - it’s simple, but absolutely fine for one or two nights. my room was clean and the service was friendly. nothing to complain about. breakfast was basic but ok for its category.

From the train station one needs to take a taxi to reach the hotel. I stayed on Corpus Christi and so all the surrounding attractions were largely closed and there was no reception either! However, when I checked-in the day before, the receptionist was superb a lady with a very helpful manner and great sense of humour too. My room was very clean and suitable for a short stay. There are ample places...

I stayed with my family at this hotel during our stay in Paderborn from 19-22May 2024 for attending the re-union at the University of Paderborn. The location is very convenient and very calm environment. Hotel staffs are super-friendly and very helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much. Only thing I missed is the non-availability of lunch/dinner at the in-house restaurant. Though it is not a...

Nice clean hotel in good location. Good parking, no bar or a/c, pity

If you are only looking for a comfortable place to sleep. Get late in bed and want to sleep only till 8. I recommend the Hotel. If you are looking for a place to relax, I don't. Very early check out and at 8 it's beginning to get very busy and loud. The room was very clean and comfortable but also a little muffy.

It served its purpose !! Clean rooms and tidy, however small. Breakfast could have been better but not complaining. Overall it was decent, and conveniently located on the outter ring of Padeborn..everything is within a 5-10 mins walking distance

Wonderful place to stay. Ver clean, good size rooms and staff are excellent. Always enjoy staying here.

Occasionally I go on a bike tour around the Lippesee with my brother-in-law on Sundays. Here we descend regularly to have a cold drink or two. There are three main reasons for this. 1. The refreshing effect of the cold drink 2. The friendly and unobtrusive manner of the bosses, who always give the guest the feeling of being welcome here. The boss often has one or two funny anecdotes ready that he is...

Nice quiet place for camping by a little "river". No place to wash diches!!Friendly stuff, exellent breakfast.

Great room. Staff was very friendly. Good breakfast. The location is amazing at the end of a pedestrian street (very quiet) and walking distance within minutes to Paderborn centre.

A modern hotel very near to Centre. Due to location tucked away from view as next to a church and St Vincent's hospital it was very quite. It is completely functional with out extras so no coffee machine in bedrooms etc but clean and pleasant Breakfast was fine with a nice selection available Less than 10 min walk to cathedral and local things of interest

This hotel is amazing to say the least. The staff are super nice! Rooms are clean and comfortable. My “coup de coeur” is the breakfast: a great variety of crunchy tasty bread and pastries .. everything you can find there! Location wise is perfect, 5 mins walk to the centre. I’ll be back again!

Great receptionist and breakfast served. I am disappointed to report that the cleaners on duty on the 11th of September 2023 failed to clean my room located on the first floor. They saw me in the morning going out only came back to meet the wet and used towel, no shampoo or toiletries replaced, and dressed the bed with dirty bed sheet and duvet. I suspect it is a racist thing. Shame on the cleaner...

A good hotel in Paderborn center. The service is kind and friendly. The rooms are a bit old and needs some renovation, but within the standard. A small private parking is available, but nearby you also find some public ones.

Clean, lovely cool room due to the air con. We were influenced to book this hotel because the room was a good size and it was nice not to be tripping over cases. Comfy bed, good shower and good selection of foods for breakfast. Underground parking available.

Great location for the Paderhalle

Needs to fix internet I had a reservation at the hotel and then they sent me to an apartment three blocks away. That was fine once I found it. The Guest wifi in my room was absolutely terrible and I couldn’t connect. I was very lucky to have had my mobile hotspot on my iPhone. This saved me. But the cellular connection in Paderborn is also relatively poor so the connection was a bit dicey. I was in...

Central, Walkable, Peaceful Location was incredibly central to Paderborn's "Dom" and right on the Pader Spring/River. Very walkable to city, but also peaceful.

Good breakfast, stupidly placed 230 V power outlets in the room, lots of street noise between 6-8 o'clock in the morning.

All good Easy to access and convenient location Comfortable and wuiet

A trip down memory lane We left Paderborn 20 years ago so this was a chance to revisit nostalgia and spend a few days at the Christmas markets. Art Hotel was a super choice because it had thatxreal individual gaste stube feel and everythingwas as you would expect. Definitely recommended.

The hotel is very nice, neat and pleasant to stay in. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is varied and delicious, with plenty of choices for everyone's taste. Overall a very pleasant experience and would happily stay here again. Recommendation!

Rooms rather chilly compared to downstairs in bar area need coffee tea making facility's very basic room need to book room service was clean and friendly 6 nights here

Perfectly decent hotel for a business trip, great room layout with a functional desk for conducting business. The reception desk personnel and the bar workers were very professional and provided us with a very pleasant experience.

Very clean hotel and friendly staff. The hotel is over the road from the old city wall and the centre is 5 minutes walk away. We had breakfast here twice, and there was a good choice of cereals, fruit, meat, eggs, cheese, and even spaghetti! Rolls and croissants were also available. The room didn't have air-conditioning, which was needed as it was hot. The shower was lovely. I would recommend taking...

Location is good. Reception staff is friendly. Room a bit on the small side. What annoys me thr most is the cleaning only on request policy. One has to request it the day before the next that the room should be cleaned. The official reason is to save the environment. I have a feeling that may not be the only reason. Overall it's ok. Just cut that cleaning nonsense. Coming back after a long day it's...

The room is old, the elevator is narrow, the environment is OK

Clean but mattresses are way too firm

Room was wonderful, very clean. Mark at the front desk was amazing, very informative, helpful and funny. We really enjoyed our stay

I was in town for a conference. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Excellent breakfast, clean room.

I didn't stay overnight, but went there for breakfast on the weekend. I saw an advertisement and visited. It wasn't great, but it was good enough for a leisurely weekend breakfast. Having breakfast at the hotel made me feel like I was on vacation, which was nice. I'll go back again next time to change my mood.

Typical European hotel. Very quiet in the rooms. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Staff was always very friendly and helpful.
