Hotel is conveniently situated 300meter away from Philharmonie U Bahn station and 1.5km to Essen HBF. Nice n neat hotel, I wished the water pressure in the shower area can be stronger though.

The room was spacious and bright. The facilities were pretty clean, and toiletries were provided. While there were no slippers in the room initially, the front desk readily supplied them upon request. The hotel's location right by the main road makes it incredibly convenient for transportation. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast served on the first floor. Directly across the main road, just a block further, is a lively pedestrian street packed with a great selection of restaurants and shops.

Clean hotel with friendly staff close to the train station, Follwang Museum and the restaurant and street Rüttenscheider Str. We stayed here a few times and would come back next time in Essen.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay. The rooms were nice and clean — great value for the price! The staff were also the most friendly and helpful hotel staff I’ve ever met in all my travels in Germany.

Things to note:
- The hotel is a bit of a walk to the city centre and multiple tram tickets can get quite expensive
- Parking is 18Euros per day — on the pricier side. You are given a parking ticket to be reused throughout the stay which is super convenient.

Stayed at this hotel many times and now always look to stay here when in Essen. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean, good-sized rooms.

The room is super big. Although it was built in 2000, it doesn't feel old at all. It is clean and tidy, and has a capsule coffee machine. Essen has a large green area, so the air in the whole city is very comfortable. It is convenient to check in and the service attitude is very good.
