Great room and services
Stayed there in April 2014, great hotel, very friendly staff, great value for money. Would like other hotels in that category being as fresh, clean and equipped with high quality items. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Well done.
This hotel was a unique experience as it caters to special olympians' needs. It was however a good experience for a business visitor such as myself. The staff is professional and friendly, the area is quiet and peaceful, the rooms are clean. Recommended.

Terrible snacks for a business conference, lunch and even horrible dinner
We took part in a conference of radiologists in this hotel.
At lunch the hotel gave us some kind of pasta.
For dessert we had, each of us, two very tiny cups of pudding... I mean really tiny.
The waitress came over to tell us that each doctor gets only one tiny pudding.
This was strange and weird.
We were all very disappointed.
By the way... the texture of the pudding was more pasta-like than the pasta.
The other day we went to a Turkish restaurant in Essen Rüttenscheid without annoying waiters.
At lunch the hotel gave us some kind of pasta.

It’s 4 o’clock in the morning and I’m being woken up by the sound of drops falling on the floor. It’s not the shower, it’s he air conditioner and I just stepped in a puddle of water on my bedroom floor. This together with the ridiculously slow internet connection makes my stay already feel like a nightmare and there’s 2 more nights to go. Unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. I gave a second star on the promise of a good breakfast.
Too pricey and hygiene can be improved. Staff friendliness can be better. Too much light shining from outside projectors into room windows. Curtains are too small to cover windows. Parking is free and location 5min from city center.
