Good hotel, right in front of the train station. Room was perfect

Above average business hotel, because of the convenient location and having AC.
However, as a business traveller, I value comfort and security. And the area outside the hotel lacks both, it's a dystopian view. There's no Minibar or complementary water (a bummer after a long trip) and out of 3 nights, I got awaken by noises in the courtyard.
Breakfast is decent and the room size too. Renovated enough, this can be really good value.

The main station is right on your doorstep, making it extremely convenient. The hotel is super clean, and I was able to change my bed type to a double bed at reception. As a nice bonus, there was a lovely little Christmas market just one minute away.

The location is perfect. It’s right across the Essen HBF.The staffs are very nice and friendly. Breakfast is fresh and worth the price.

Good location, very close to the train station. The staff are very nice.

Right next to the train station. Spacious clean rooms, noiselevel was ok, but since it is directly next to the station it is busy thus if you are a light sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.
