Arcade Hotel in Wuppertal

This is one of the most disappointing and unprofessional hotel experiences I have ever encountered. On February 2rd, I booked a room at this hotel. Shortly after the booking, it became clear that the location was completely unsuitable, despite having been recommended. We acted responsibly and immediately contacted the hotel to explain the situation. What followed was shocking. Instead of offering help or even basic communication, the receptionist informed us that we would need to personally contact the hotel owner to resolve the issue. This raises a serious question: is every guest expected to chase the owner just to receive basic customer service? We then contacted the hotel through every possible official channel: *********** direct email WhatsApp The result? Silence. Most messages were ignored entirely. No explanation. No discussion. No professionalism. And, of course, not a single euro was refunded. This behavior demonstrates a business that is not service-oriented, not client-focused, and not interested in reputation or long-term success. It shows complete disregard not only for guests, but even for potential future customers. What makes this situation even more absurd is that we will be visiting this city again next month. Needless to say, we will never, under any circumstances, consider this hotel again. If €70 -80 is worth more to you than your reputation, then that says everything a future guest needs to know.

Awful experience with this hotel, communication is none existent. Never get back to emails or phone calls. I just hope everything goes well at the hotel as if it doesn’t you’re in for a dreadful experience. Complete radio silence in how they deal with a situation. I made a mistake when booking initially and then from that date forward it’s been an awful experience with little to no sympathy to my situation. Never ever will I go to this hotel or recommend it to anyone.
