Where to stay in Wuppertal

The hotel only provide bottle water once while you check in. We stay for 5 night and don't get any extra bottle water. There is no privilege for in and out parking for hotel's guest.

Unfortunately, it's not entirely wheelchair accessible from the parking garage due to a small staircase. It's manageable with a rollator and some help, but not suitable for those reliant on a wheelchair. Otherwise, everything is clean, very friendly, and spotless. We were a bit disappointed by the limited menu selection and the kitchen at 4 PM on a Saturday. The staff were nice and accommodating.

The room is very small, smaller than description, the heating is not like the rest of the high-end hotels, but heating under the window, there is no phone to call the reception, I had to use my phone and search for the hotel number through Google and then wait for the autoresponder, to ask them a question The fan has a thick dust on it, it hasn't been cleaned in a while

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities in the room. The only downside was with the windows open we heard a lot of traffic noise . Room needed air conditioning as when we were there the temperature was 30 degrees - but there was an electric fan in the room.

Great hotel in the heart of Wuppertal with its own parking. Rooms are clean, spacious and recently renovated. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Entry is by key card only, which feels very safe. Some rooms even look directly onto the Schwebebahn—a unique touch. And the lounge is a perfect spot to enjoy a beer or two at the end of the day.

Hammock A lovely hotel where we have stayed before. But the bed in room 108 needs replacing!! It is extremely soft and you fall in towards the middle on both sides. I preferred to sleep on the floor. Otherwise a lovely spacious room that was clean and neat.

Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have air conditioning; it was really hot in the room, but otherwise everything was okay.

For the price it's actually okay, but there's apparently no hot water for showering after 10 pm and only from a certain time in the morning (probably 7:30 am). That's not so great...

Stayed single at this hotel in 1989 for a month and with spouse in 1991 for two and a half months. It was like home away from home for us. Managed by women team. We were allowed to cook our own food. Had an excellent time through. Hope to visit some day again for a nostalgic experience.

B&B Hotel Wuppertal-Oberbarmen Arrived to a hotel undergoing renovation of entrance, lobby etc., sure it will be quite ok when finished. Room newly renovated, small but very fresh and nice. Location is a bit off, quite far from train stations etc., and area as such not very attractive. No breakfast offered and no alternatives nearby. Works for sleep as room was good.

Under renovation The hotel is currently being renovated 09/25. We had a renovated room, which was clean in every way of course. The ventilation and air conditioning were not yet working. Plenty of parking spaces in the yard. The breakfast was not worth the price. That's a long minus.

Having come from Paris Ibis budget my expectations were bad. But was I wrong. The staff were excellent. The accomodation was brilliant. Having a car the free parking was appreciated. The Breakfast was €7.50 per person. Well worth it. Once after the front office is shut you have a coffee machine and a sandwich sweets machine. The rooms were much bigger and it was bunk beds 2+1. Can't understand the overwhelmingly negative reviews. We have get for very cheap 39 Euro's a night for a double room in a large tidy room. Everything was clean and completely okay. A “Budget“ Hotel, maybe the expectation for some is too high. 've stayed at much more expensive, significantly worse. Would I book again.
