Rooms are very pleasant, very clean design. The location is wonderful because it is in the middle of nature. Nice breakfast buffet.

Great hotel in an excellent setting. Brilliant service, very clean and excellent value for money. Loads to do in the surrounding area.

Excellent hotel in a stunning setting. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is freely available. Very good restaurant and the breakfast is also top class. Free bus pass provided to take you into the town, runs every 30 mins.

Very pleasant country hotel, with ample parking and views of the local Schloss. Rooms are pleasant with modern en suite and, in our case, at least, good views and some outside seating.
Service at dinner was friendly and attentive, food traditional and ample - I have no idea if the reviewer who criticised portion sizes was serious! Our sauerbraten was excellent.
Overall comes out of the cost: quality matrix very well.
The town itself is not an obvious stop for a foreign tourist: there are several local wine centres, and some mapped walks of between 3-9 km, but it's not a buzzing tourism centre. That said, it's easy to find from the Autobahn, and in our case made for a characterful stop.

One of the few places I always come back to with great pleasure. Very hospitable and helpful people (owners) care a lot to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Delicious breakfast, excellent wifi, fine parking. It can surely be recommended!
